KoS

Just a question, to make sure I'm right.

I got into a fight with 3 people, i was on my own, they were a group, and the fight went on for a while, the only people who can kill me on sight are those 3 correct? unless another of their group was hiding or whatever within 500m of when it started. If they hired mercs to kill me, the merc would need to initiate correct? i mean is there any other way i could possibly be KoS'd other than those 3 ppl, and ppl that were hiding or whatever in the 500m?

Lets say group A initiates on you and your friends. You don't comply and a firefight starts. At this point group A has kos rights on you and your friends and vice-versa, which means if someone from group A hasn't been part of the firefight yet but hiding as you said, he can kill you and so can you.

Even tho they are mercenaries then have to initiate. All the rules apply to everyone. You can't go around killing people because, you know "It's my character man."

In order for there to be a gunfight of any sorts, an initiation would need to go down. If the group initiated on you (Which means telling you to put your hands up/drop weapons), and you didn't comply, they would then be able to kill you. You can also kill them. If they had any members within 500 meters at the time, they are part of the dynamic group and part of the situation. Those within 500 also have KoS Rights, and you have KoS Rights on them, too.

If they recruited a gun for hire to kill you, yes, they would need to re-initiate. The only exception is if they recruited the gun for hire sometime before initiating on you.

kk thanks, sorry, wrong forum my bad, i was KoS then, but whatever by the end i was outnumbered to shit at least 6v1

Well that seems like NVFL. If you are clearly outnumbered then you must value your character's life and comply. A 1 v 6 has almost no survival chance.

well you see it was 3v1 at first and it started out that way, and then later on 3more guys randomly were in there group chasing me, and then i went to a different group and was asking if you saw them etc and then bam dead by that totally other group, saying that they found me and shit after i died, there wasn't NVFL because i had a very good chance, just it got way too bad then

NVFL depends on the weapons you use, the weapons they use, if you have cover, and ofcourse, how skilled you are with a weapon.

You should always make sure to take these into consideration when facing enemies.

NVFL Accusations are not valid if you kill all hostiles.
