Noobs question - Maps

Hi all

I am relatively new to standalone. I have a quick question about maps. Does the damage level of the map determine whether or not it has names of towns on it? I have a damaged map but It doesn't have any names on it.

Second thing is, is there any way to bring up the compass on the map screen.

The map stays the same no mater the condition

and regarding compasses, put your compass on your hot bar it will direct you, or in your hands. #realism

The ingame maps are all the same, whatever condition. I'm pretty sure when maps are even ruined, they are still usable.

Could be interesting to see them add new models. Like rips and such when looking at it.

every map is usable regardless of conditions in this patch.

As far as I know there is no changes to the in game maps

As everyone has stated above all maps are useable regardless of their condition the only dIfference is the appearence of the map in your inventory the function will remain the same.
