Character reset on connect

I played on the servers for a while last night and gathered supplies and whatnot, but when I logged in today, my character was reset. I tried reconnecting to the server thinking it was just a fluke, and my character reset again in a different spawn with no items that I had before I reconnected. Is this a server problem?

DDoS fucks with the connection to the hive.

Next time, just try to avoid playing on the server when it's being DDoS'd, friend.

yes it's also happened to me. and it is DDos as Sean says, it fucks with hive and thats why the servers can not remember your character. http://www.dayzrp.com/t-Character-reset-after-DDoS-attacks

Yes, like Jannik said above. It also occurred to myself as well, but I'm afraid there isn't much we can do for the time being. When the DDos is in progress, then I advise everyone to refrain from joining the servers, as it could lead to that character reset. 

Apologies to everyone that has experienced this.
