Do you guys think it'll be a hit or miss,  and or replace DayZ/ H1z1? Im curious to see what everyone thinks :)

Looks like a really good concept and the demos were really impressive, but it's still Ubisoft...

Guess I've been living under a rock because I didn't even know about this game until now.

Nice looking game, but I dont think DayZ will ever really die. There will always be people playing it. As for H1Z1, I didn't think anyone still played that. (lol)

not too high hopes for that game I have to be honest. this past couple of years, Massive multiplayer games hasn't lived up to the hype. the only one I can think is good is GTAV, and that's just cause you can beat hookers and get drunk

From what I've understand you wont be able to have a server that lot's of people can join since it's only 4 player COOP and then if you meet other players they are on another server and so on.

I had hoped that you would be able to host a server for like 40 people because then the RP capabilities could had been amazing.

If there's one thing I've learned over the years is that MANY MANY MANY games have tried to be DayZ and none have ever been up to par and all have died out. No game will ever be like DayZ and that's why people will always return to the root of all survivor games, DayZ.

H1Z1, has died a long time ago now and is one perfect example. It seems like a great game, but like the others who tried to cash in on DayZ's idea, it has failed for the most part.

This new game The Division looks cool, but it does not have that REAL factor to it. Feels like a game, hud feels like a game, everything about it screams game. DayZ does not have that feeling. It looks and feels more real due to realistic graphics and minimal hud presence.

Anyway, there are a ton of other factors but DayZ will never ever get replaced and will always live on despite people complaining about some bugs and development.

More people play H1Z1 than people who play DayZ.

Yes but more hackers (TONS) on H1Z1 than on DayZ ;) Thus killing the game.

Sorry if I was not more clear on that. I didn't just mean numbers but the game as a whole of that helps precise it a bit ;)

When the majority of the H1Z1 population are hackers, it just kills it. I've played it too and I just keep getting hacked and stuff like that.

It has potential. If they do it right it will easily be the game of the year, but on the other hand it could so easily go the other way. We will just have to wait and see.
