Detailed description of the events: I was in grishino looting a building when I was going through the front door and I saw a man standing with his weapon pointing at me - There was no proper RP initiation, he just said "Hands Up" or something along those lines.

I shot him as a response but he kills me.

It was very disappointing because there was no RP before hand whatsoever.

I was the guy who shot u. My intention from the beginning wasn't to shoot you at all, we were being attacked few moments ago on northwestern airfield and I was forced to kill a guy who was robbing my friend. Thinking that they were following us we were on high alert and when we saw you we decided that we will take you for questioning as I stated before we weren't even robbing you. Now I would also like to point out that this man without saying anything raised his gun, I repeatably said "Put your hands up put your hands up right now" the only thing he did is look at me for a second and put his gun up out in an attempt to kill me which is understandable but I would also like to point out that I had the upper hand and the fact that he pulled his gun in an attempt to kill me immediately kinda ruined the RP for me.

I was the guy who shot u. My intention from the beginning wasn't to shoot you at all, we were being attacked few moments ago on northwestern airfield and I was forced to kill a guy who was robbing my friend. If you wanted me for questioning, there was no need for an initiation - Questioning me first would've shown if I was worth initiating or not because you would've known if I was apart of your previous fight/encounter.

You didn't know who I was or anything about me, you immediately decided to initiate with what I believe was a poor initiation.

You said "Hands up" Once, which was very brief and I had no time to RP.

Like I said before if you were to question me of who I was and what I was doing before and then initiate it would've let me RP with yourself before hand - I would've got know the situation and maybe of even helped.

For all you know I could've been I close friend of yours or your worst enemy - you didn't know, and didn't let myself know before hand.

It would've been better if you initiated with a proper, acceptable reason.

The issue is I didn't know why you initiated in the first place, thus why it would've been better with RP before with a proper initiation which allowed me to know why I was being initiated on.

Also I shot you immediately because I felt like I had the advantage because I though you were holding a semi automatic but it was very dark and hard to see so I didn't realise it was an AUG.

To your previous point those people had KOS rights on us I won't just stand there like a duck and get killed. U are right we didn't know who you are that is why we wanted to question u and questioning a guy who can shoot you on sight without taking control of the situation is very dangerous. Also on your part maybe it would've been better if you wouldn't just start shooting immediately I myself consider poor RP not reacting to a man pointing a gun at you and saying "Put your hands" up several times.

Well you didn't have to "Stand there like a duck" - You could've of told me to stay in the building because there was a situation in the area and whilst I was inside ask who I was what I was doing and let me of moved on to the next town.

Initiating on a randomer is not really a good idea - it is likely that it would've made the situation worse which has it did.

 "Put your hands up several times." - I disagree, on my end you said it once.

I said nothing because I was very confused and unaware of what was going on.

Verdict:

Hersl Anderson - Bad RP - Not Guilty

Reason:

We as a staff team have come to the conclusion that Hersl did not have to initiate on the OP and while vague in nature, initiated for the right reason. That reason being that a recent hostile situation was still looming and the accused had hostiles most likely not far behind. We believe he acted realistically for someone who had just shot a man and was experiencing the fear of that man's friends were not far behind.

While we all agree that the initiation was indeed vague and could have been worded better. Just because someone initiates on you does not mean that the RP stops there. They are REQUIRED by our rules to give RP or face the consequences if otherwise. As in our discussion thread of Who's Roleplay did You Enjoy Today. In some cases some of the best RP comes after an initiation.

We ask from both of you just one thing. That in the future, your initiations are more clear, and the recognition that RP does not stop after an initiation.
