Im Building a new set up and i'm in a bit of a dilemma. I am aiming to get the GTX 950 which is around £120-£140, but their are so many different versions of its model from different brands :/ so if any one could tell me from the links below which one is the best for value and the best for DayZ of course ;)

Buy the GTX 960 4GB or R9 380 4GB, these are good for the money and are great 1080p cards a 950 isn't the greatest and it will only last another year with its VRAM limitations. For 960 and R9 380, they are around $170 at the moments and are around £140 in the UK where I am.

I have a 970 and I love it. I definitely recommend it. I was looking at 960's when I needed/wanted a new video card, but the general consensus was that 970 was worth the money. If you are really strapped for money I would think 960 would be good.

I typically use this website. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

Now when it comes to which brand to get, I personally like evga. They've made my last three video cards and they work great. Other than that I would just look up reviews.

I know it's probably not the answer you're looking for, but a GTX 970 is definitely worth it.

I am also waiting for some holiday discounts to buy a GTX 960, final piece of the PC for me. If I would of had 150$ more I would of went for a 970 but ...yeah. Hope this will also help you.

These are my options: (post made by me on a samp rp server):

Hello.

Finally after over 5 years of doing everything on this laptop I have got all the parts I need to build my new PC, only thing I am missing is the Video Card.

I have been looking at several models and currently waiting for some kind of discounts.

As I been stuck with a laptop for many years now I got left behind in terms of PC video cards so if you can please help and tell me which of the fallowing ones should I go for (and preferably why). And also I am open to other suggestions. Budget around 250$ (250$ in US or UK because here in Romania they seem a bit more expensive).

I am looking to play video games and maybe make some streaming. Games like CSGO, DayZ, GTA V, etc.

My system components:

ASUS B85-PLUS - motherboard

Sirtec HPC-500-G12S BR, 500W, ATX 2.3 - power supply

Intel Haswell Refresh, Core i5 4460 3.2GHz box - processor

HyperX Savage 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 - RAM memory

Segotep Fighter C Black-Red - case

WD Blue 1TB SATA-III 7200 RPM 64MB - HDD

LED BenQ GW2255 21.5 inch 6ms GTG Black - monitor.

Thank you.
