TS Ban Appeal

Link to the source of punishment (report/post):

N/A, will be in TS ban logs for staff retrieval.

Why the verdict is not fair:

The punishment is fair under the existing rules (I knowingly and intentionally broke the rule), though being permanently banned from a TeamSpeak server for bantering around seems a little excessive, I guess? I mean, it's not even really excessive when I think about it - I was being cancerous and I apologise for that, though giving someone a month or so to cool off seems alright considering they're an alright guy normally.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:

I wouldn't actually be too worried about the ban in general as I don't really play DayZ anymore, but since Rainbow Six: Siege came out recently it'd be nice to be able to come onto the server where my friends are instead of them having to switch to a TS server I'm on.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal:

To be successfully unbanned from the DayZRP TeamSpeak server.

What could you have done better?:

Not have changed my name to "slip" in the first place, changed my name when Conor asked me to, not have reconnected as "not slip" when Conor kicked me after asking me twice to change my name to my forum name.

Reason:

Hello Neszy,

We took another look at the reason why you got permanently banned from Teamspeak.

Purposely breaking a rule that this community has set up and  going against a staff member will not be tolerated moving forward.

We expect you to follow our rules and respect our staff members trying to do their job.

You will receive 1 ban strike and a strong warning to not let this happen again.

Any kind of trolling or misbehavior either on teamspeak or forums will be judged harshly.

With the above stated the following applies:

Outcome:

Appeal accepted.

1 Ban strike for trolling on Teamspeak.
