Are there any songs that remind you of playing dayzrp or that you listen to in the background while playing?  More specifically I'm wondering if people listen to any movie soundtracks that remind them of dayz

For me one song that I some times play in the background while playing day z is the song playing I'm the background of this trailer, I feel as though it can amplify the intensity during the right situations

I like soundtracks, the Last of us, Fallout, TWD telltale- i often play these while streaming DayZRP. Rampage used to play an Ulver track a lot called  Silence teaches you how to sing (part 1) which i often use now.

I really like to listen to soft, acoustic/piano music. It just feels so, genuine. S. Carey, Bon Iver and RY X, to name a few. Also, as mentioned above, movie soundtracks are really good.

Maybe its just because I do campfire RP all the time. But hey, I listen to this in the background while playing DayZ all the time and it fits my style of playing.

really good music though, i've listened through what everyones posted like twice, and been really looking into the various different suggestions, I had never thought to look up the walking dead game music or the last of us, but that was a really good idea, and I totally forgot about the movie the road because its been so many years but thank you for reminding me, powerful movie and music

I found this when I first started playing day Z a few months back, I love both the movies and I think its an awesome mash up, It makes me feel like the two sound tracks were made with each other in mind almost, if your a fan of the first resident evil movie or the film 28 days later you may enjoy this one

These suggestions were awesome thank you.  Silent Hill is absolutely petrifying, so is its music,

this track is great for Day Z, and its a from a great game, at :43 seconds in it has a classic 80's horror vibe + an awesome sense of intensity

This is a very interesting topic to be sure. I have gone through and made a list of songs that I feel fit the criteria of the OP's question.

While all of them have a story to tell about my main character, Tucker Haas, they were used by me at different times to get into the character and the environment that is the end of the world. So some do have a hint of end of the world/zombie apocalypse/reminds you of DayZ feel. Some come from a TV series, and one does come from a movie sound track, and it gives a feel to the DayZ environment. Again, all of these are actually constructing a story in the order I have placed them, and it also is in order of when I listened to them while playing this character.

Woodkid has some great instrumentals, great vocals too, I just prefer instrumentals while I'm gaming, this song was used as a trailer for dying light and has an epic running feeling

I find myself driving around a lot in RP, going on roadtrips to pick up buddies or to explore, and I feel like Audioslave is pretty good band for DayZ roadtrips.

One of my all time favorite soundtracks and shows, the music from True Detective both seasons one and two I also have a sound that seems like it should belong in Day Z

I haven't been able to find a place where you can download the full soundtracks without the sounds and voices of the show in the mix, does anyone know if / where this is available?  thanks
