2015 Character of the Year

1. Rules and Requirements

• Nominations are for individuals who have created the best, most creative and unique character to be met in game on DayZRP servers. It is not only about the roleplay, but also the story and the individual traits and special things about the character.
  
• You need to have a reason and proof of the nomination, it can be your own story, a thread, video or other media that would support the nomination.
  
• Serious nominations only. Permabanned players or players on final warnings are ineligible for nomination.
  
• A person needs 10 nominations before they qualify for the voting stage.
  
• You can only post 1 nomination per award!

Reason: Demanded respect with just the tone of his voice. Not overtly hostile, but you were sure not to cross him. Could lead armies just due to mind games.

Reason: His character is so interesting. Ever time I have talked with him I have learned something new about him and all of it is completely original. Overall his character is the most interesting person I have met in game and by far the most remember able.

Nominee: Joffrey Reed

Reason:

A character as complex as they come.  He created fear with his words, and was incredibly philosophical.  You would fear the character, and think your character should run, but at the same time, you wanted to stick around to see what he would say.

Nominee: Kenji Oshiro

Reason: The person who played Kenji, DJhato is one of the best role players i know in this community. Just watch his stream and you'll see why, Kenji his most recent character is probably one of the most interesting people I met in game. He was the only one in this community able to pull of a real japanese accent. As someone who have been to japan on numerous occasions, I can say that his accent not only matches with the way they speak English but his research and homework done on the culture of Japan. The sheer amount of passion and dedication he put into this character is insane, Kenji is one of the people I can recognize on sight, one of the few people I remembered after my first encounter. Great roleplayer, great first impersion and never fail to impress me. He made walking from NWAF to Novy fun. It is clear that Hato have put an insane amount of work into this character and I believe he is a perfect candidate for this award.

Reason: The first time I met him was with a guy trying to sell Zombie Repellant, and he had the most amazing RP in that situation. From then on my character called him Grandpa Percy (and I still do OOCly ) He's an awesome guy as well as RPer and has been nothing but sweet to me since the day I met him.

Reason: Methias "Harry Wells" character is well known, always provides the same chaotic, amusing RP and has been active throughout the year. Often commented on how hilarious he is by people who roleplay with him and who watch him on stream.

Reason: Have been knowing him with my current character for ages, always provided some interesting RP, ranging from the good and quiet man of hickory hill, that would greet anybody who'd come in, to the prideful and disrespectful old man that has the guts to stand up for himself when cornered.

Reason: Johnny Denver is one of the few characters I can still clearly remember meeting the first time and interacting with. Although the idea was simple enough, Johnny had a way of completely changing the RP regardless of the situation. Also, who doesn't remember the iconic, "Baby."

Nominee: Nora Wilson

Reason:

I first met Nora at Vybor Military Base, whistling and trying to communicate with all of us. I immediately set our people in search of nearby towns to locate a pen for Nora...we were successful. Nora impacted my character in many ways, from killing a man who shot Nora to bringing a smile to my characters face whenever she hears a whistle as she remembers Nora.
