2015 Community Member of the Year

1. Rules and Requirements

• Nominations are for non-staff individuals which have been active for a substantial amount of time during 2015 and have affected the community positively.
  
• You need to have a reason and proof of the nomination, it can be your own story, a thread, video or other media that would support the nomination.
  
• Serious nominations only. Permabanned players or players on final warnings are ineligible for nomination.
  
• A person needs 10 nominations before they qualify for the voting stage.
  
• You can only post 1 nomination per award!

A community memeber that has gone above and beyond to make this community better.  I haven't always agreed with everything he says, but he always goes out of his way to make people feel welcome and to create something interesting for others.  Volke would be very deserving of this award, as long as he doesn't let it go to his head  He is also someone who can take a lot of flack and jokes and shrug it off as people having a good time.

Reason: I don't think I see a day without seeing Samaritan here. From the start of the year to today, I knew I would nominate him. Such an awesome guy, welcoming and overall cool dude! He owns these forums in my opinion hahaha. I mean he's everywhere and has super forum fame! He is the pillar of friendlies in this community. Keep being a cool cat Samaritan!

Reason: He is always present on the forums, especially on Introduction threads, offering help to anyone who needs it. During my time here, I have never seen someone who cares as much as he does to help the new members of the community.

Reason: Volke is straight up one of the rawest dudes I have ever met. This kid would slit a nun's throat with a hacksaw if you crossed him twice, and yet he's taken a vow of abstinence in lieu of creating and/or being directly involved with 13 EVENTS in 2015. He has brought players together that ordinarily would never meet, and have both broken hearts and mended them. Volke went out of his way to contact my group, and came to meet me alone without any back-up despite numerous IC threats. He stunned me with his exceptionally lovable young boy RP, which is really just a testament to how adorable this little guy is OOC. Word has it that the community has never seen his face, which makes him an incredibly magnanimous and mysterious person which is especially popular among our female userbase. I have heard rumors that he has personally contacted every girl who has ever registered themselves on DayZRP. If that isn't dedication, then I do not know what is. Seriously, though -- The evidence should speak for itself. Volke is an inspiring member of the community and we should all strive to achieve what he has in 2015. He took over the RP Masterclass, was a huge advocate for utilizing the Newcomber Channel, and organized an INCREDIBLE Community Newsletter (it was like seventy pages!!! Great work to all involved), which spawned the ULTIMATE Guide on Insane RP, a MUCH NEEDED addition to this community. Volke is an incredible member of this community.
