I recommend taking a look at the lore, apart from the rules of course; an effective way of getting a grasp on the rules themselves is to read the reports to understand how the rules actually apply IG.

Thanks for the tips Mak, the lore is actually very interesting. I'm starting to get ideas about my own story.

To get you up to speed and prepared for your whitelist, here are some useful links on DayZRP. Be sure to read all about the Lore  and be very familiar with the StandAlone rules found here.

The Newcomer's Guide is very useful for new players as is reading our FAQ.

If you have questions or problems don't hesitate to PM or grab one of our Community Helpers. This is especially helpful if you have questions about rules or your whitelist. Any of us are happy to help. You can always jump into our TeamSpeak as well. The link for that can be found at the top of the page, next to the Steam icon, under  the DayZRP logo.

Don't forget to make a post in a thread other than here, or in the Off Topic forums. You have 30 days to do this so that your account is not pruned for inactivity. 

I invite you  to explore the forums,  play a forum  game or two and get to know the community. Again, grab any of us should you need something.
