Server only being full very late

Recommended Posts

Hi,

my question in this discussion is, why is the EU server only filling up at around 20:00 GMT +0?

Shouldn't people come from work and school at around 18:00 or even 17:00 and start playing? Am I missing out on something here? Because when I'm coming home at around 15:00 GMT +1 there is literally nobody playing.

For me personally, I live in germany and I'm going to sleep, normally, at around 21:00 GMT +1 and that's around the time where most of the users are connecting and filling up 45-50/50 of the slots on the EU server.

Is it because 90% of the player base doesn't need sleep? Because I gotta sleep my good ol' 9 hours a day to be productive for the rest of it, but maybe that's just my german "sleep=energy=work=profit" brain having too much influence on me.

Anyone got dem answers?

Anyways, I really hope that people come online earlier so I can still have my piece of action and role play before (my mom starts yelling at me because she wants me to be) going to sleep!

thx

Fallout 4 ;)

Most people finish work at 6pm, then come home, have dinner, play some fallout then come on RP when all their friends are on too at 8 or 9pm and stay on til 12 or 1 then go to bed.

People dont like going on empty servers when only 2 more players are on and would rather wait for when the servers become more populated and their friends/group are also on

their friends

wish I had any

Make an effort of meeting other community members, talk to people, be part of the forums and you will naturally make some friends. A good tip is to also sit in the newcomer channel on teamspeak and you can talk to people if they join :)

No matter where you are and your time zone, peak times remain around 9PM. When I get home from work, shower, eat, relax, spend time with friends and family, new triple A title games, then RP to end the day on a high note.

Natural flow of things ;)

As mentioned, find some friends on the forums or TS that have the same mindset as you and would be available at YOUR peak times ;)

When the new update (.59) comes around the servers will be much more populated in my opinion.

Obvious Fallout 4 statement. Other statement about games that just released like Battlefront.

Of course, with the new patch (hopefully) around the corner people might be waiting for the zombies to be making a return. Still, it's getting better, or at least it was better than it was last week. People will come back, they always do.

I think it's because it's the holiday season and so many Triple A Title games have came out.

I was on about 2 hours ago, and there were 3 people on including me. I saw BOTh of the ONLY two people walk past behind me.

Aint the server pop, its where you are.

Lots of new games coming out this time of year...

Plus time zones are a pain in the butt. Can be really annoying trying to RP with someone in Australia when you live in the US for example. It requires a lot of planning.

Also keep in mind when the next patch hits stable the servers will likely be flooded.

Fallout 4, lack of zombies, people getting bored due to lack of zombies, bugs.

It's slowly getting recovering after the Fallout 4 attack, and the 0.59 pills will cause major swellings in the population numbers. And if the guessings are correct, there won't be too long left to wait...

fallout 4, general life fun stuff, Christmas is almost here too so people could be prepping for that.

don't worry about it being late, it happens. for Australians and oceanic people in general it only opens up at midnight. so don't worry you don't really got it that bad

in fact I got a pretty fucked up body clock thanks to DayZRp, I can only sleep in the day after 1pm. good thing I got morning shift in my job huh?
