Hello everyone long time no see.

I guess you could say i was one of the older DayzRP players and was planning on giving the SARP a shot.

Is there any new controls / Tips i should know before going in game?

Is that Hans Landa from Munich? Controls are pretty much the same as mod and the few that aren't you can switch over. Green Mountain is pretty much the new Prud Lake and we have dynamic groups now so KOS rights are less of a hassle.

one small thing id recommend is learn which of the F1-12 keys do which emote things as they are like sitting, surrendering, waving stuff like that. but other that the controls are generally the same across the board.

I got executed once because i got told to put my hands up, miss clicked and ended up flipping the guy off. Was not a pleasurable experience whatsoever

oh yeah ive been there a few times.. hell i got initiated on today and had to scream in ts to ask what button puts my hands up and i have almost 1000 hours in the game...

Found out today if you set your brightness at roughly 65% the whole "blinding fire" thing wont happen (where everything goes black)

Yeah sure friend!

Play around with it at night i believe 65 should be about right realistically speaking, you could always turn it to 100

I thought it was the gamma but gamma doesn't affect it, its the brightness setting. Stare at a fire and keep tweaking it, you'll get it right!!

I just tried that ingame, and it didn't work. Must be other things that have to be right as well to make it work...

Alright ill go recheck, maybe it was gamma. i'll update the results.
