Ok so I do not know if there is already a Thread like this or not but I had an experience tonight that I had to share with everyone.

So I was in Bor with Cid on S2, we were looking for food you know the norm when I walk into one of the log houses with the tin roofs, you know the one that when you walk into it on the left against the wall is a fridge and a stove then there is a table right in front of you and two beds off to the right? Yea that one so I was walking into it and saw a can of food on the floor next to the table so I walk over and as I'm shifting things around in my inventory I hear the door close behind me. I freak out because the only time I  close the doors in a building is when I am logging off for the night. I NEVER CLOSED THE DOOR!!!! So I walk over and open it up while at the same time I radio Cid, once I get outside, only about 5 seconds after the door closed, I see Cid coming out of the house next to me. Over TS he sounds confused as he heard it to and thought I had just closed the door. We look around and can find NO ONE! The door just closed on it's own! That's it DayZ is Hunted!!!!    Anyway that is my spooky encounter I wonder if anyone else has had one? If so please share as I would love to hear them.

Rationally I know it had to been a glitch of some kind perhaps when I clicked the can of food an icon showed up of the door but on an IC level Sue is convinced that it had to be something otherworldly.

Haha, ghosts maybe? DayZ bug, yes. It's the whole thing, when the door is open for you, but the server thinks it's closed, so whenever you're in a house for so long, the server realises you just went through a closed door. So... then it just shuts itself clitent side aswell. For example when you hit the doors with your fists on a house, the doors will close, so like in the video you shot the house, the door / doors closed. Sorry to ruin that for ya Thought you might like to know. If you already knew, then I wasted my time and i'll just go jump off a bridge.

Shhh... bugs don't exist it was certainly something paranormal.

I'd classify all the strange noises that I've heard over my time on DayZ works of the paranormal, but that's probably just me being paranoid or going batshit crazy and hearing things.  I don't have any cool stories.

Bor within the last hour or two? Sounds like my stomping ground. It was nice seeing someone even if you didn't stay for long, then again neither did I.

All aside I have seen this kind of thing before. I often wonder whether the server randomly closes/opens doors similar to spawning loot. Who knows?

Hmmm now seeing as this threat is up anyway I just need to ask this. Ever since this patch whenever I am moving around I can swear that in the distance some object are rendered in as a player model most of the time near fences and quickly turn back towards the original item. I have the constant feeling people are absolutely watching me and the amount of times I have said theres a fucking player there and it turns out there is nobody is extremely high.

You could blame poor spotting skills but I never had this before EVER its really since this patch and Im just wondering.

Has anybody else seen player models for split second pop ups?

Must be! I 100% thought you were joking or trying to spook me, but after I watched your video it was pretty clear as day that ghosts are roaming around Chernarus. It's not enough that we have zombies.

I've been scared a ton of times, one of the worst ones was when it was pitch black and I was in the middle of the woods up north I heard somebody whistle and it became more distant I followed it for like 3 minutes and gave up because I got to scared

When i met Makarov on NWAF and we were haunted by some deer teleporting around us and making weird sounds. It was creepy.
