"In fact I do know that Green Mountain is a hell-hole for all the scum in Chernarus. But I plan to change that. Our forces are big enough to retake and hold it. It's not our main base of operations. I can't give that away on open radio for safety reasons. Zelenogorsk is our second meeting point for new comers. Green Mountain is a well known place so that is why we said it's one of the meeting points. Thank you."

*Charlie hears the man's transmission and his eyes widen in disbelief, then frown as he realises that this man could well be dead already. He picks up his battered radio and starts to broadcast*

Just don't man honestly...if you're still alive it just isn't worth it, even if your intention is good. No matter how many men you have, I doubt you will be able to fortify the cluster-fuck that is Green Mountain...

*Charlie sighs at the thought of another pointless death*

*Charlie switches off the transmitter and kicks some dirt over his fire to put it out. "Well that's gone and made me all depressed" he grumbled, and grudgingly swung his rifle over his shoulder and started the long trudge up the hill*

Others in our group just had a meeting and we plan to clean up some of the shit-holes of this country. Green Mountain will be a meet up point, currently Zelenogrorsk is our current recruitment zone. So anyone else out there, please listen before complaining about the Green Mountain plans."

*Andy picks up radio and begins to speak*

"Welp, best of luck. Ya won't get far. I know atleast three people that have attempted this, and of course.. Failed. Let's see if you can do any better I suppose. If not... well, everyone else on this frequency can say 'Told ya so.' Have fun."

*Turns off the radio, and puts it in his bag*

Do you honestly think that the way things are now, that you can make a difference? We've had thousands of years to 'learn our lesson'. Even with the power of the atom bomb, we didn't learn. The Cold War proved that.

This 'apocalypse' is showing human kind for what it really is. Morality is a human concept, something that no other creature of the earth follows. So don't give us that 'I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do' bullshit. Doing the 'right' thing has always ended in with more people dying than it saves.

We are creatures of destruction pal, so take my advice, and let humanity drive itself to extinction. You'll be doing the planet a favor."

*Ivan clicks off his radio*

*Tucker hears the transmission while resting in bed. He had just taken his medication, but the pain had yet to stop. He leans over to try and grab his radio, but accidentally bumps his gunshot wound on his left side and he bites his lip to suppress the pain. He manages to grab his radio and depresses the PTT. You can hear the pain in his voice as he speaks.*

"All... we are... are sacks of meat... with a knife hanging over... our heads eh?"

*He chuckles and starts to cough violently. His pain is unbearable and he drops the radio to the floor, releasing the PTT and ending his transmission*

*Ivan hears the mans voice and responds softly.*

"That's all we've ever been. I'm only surprised it's taken people this long to start seeing it. And even now there are some that cling onto some degree of false hope.

I find it odd that those who try to take the 'moral high ground' call people like us insane. Huh. We live in a world where roughly 95% of the human population has been killed off, our social structure destroyed, our military crushed, our technology now useless or broken, and yet their are people out there that think we can change, rebuild and become better, and they call us insane?

Look at us! The moment our societal structure fell, people started showing their true colors. THIS is what humanity is. We've always been this way. All it takes it for one to open their eyes and they'll see it.

*Ivan takes a breath and lets it out slowly. His next words are more sincere.*

"You sound like you've been through the sawmill. Get some rest. I'll catch up with you again at some point."

*Ivan clicks off the radio and sighs softly.*

*Tucker reaches down and fights through the pain in his left shoulder and left side to pick up his radio on the floor and to make a response. He picks up the radio and using all of his strength he lifts himself back into bed and depresses the PTT*

"A few h-holes in me ain't gonna k-keep me down for long... It's j-just one more thing I've s-survived. W-we both have been... *he starts to cough again*

Y-yeah I'll t-take it easy... for now..."

*he releases the PTT and sets the radio back on his night stand as the pain medication is just starting to kick into effect.*

The campfire burns. Buko presses the button.

"What's the point? Listen to these voices... ... What kind of people are you lookin' for?"

Signal fizzes away. He kicks a branch into the fire.
