US server

I see that the EU server is back up and doing pretty good. Are there plans for the US server to come back online today. While I don't have a problem playing on the EU ( other than I usually have a ping between 110-170) most of the players I have meet and interacted with play on the US server. So is there a time frame for the US server or is it still having issues and going to be down for a while.

Also this is more of a RPing question. But if I play and have my interactions on the US server. And then have to switch to the EU server for a situation like this. Does my character retain his memories and thoughts. Or should I treat playing on the EU server as a fresh character.

Currently the US server is down as it is experiencing a large amount of lag spikes making it unplayable, as well as the current server population has not been large enough to support large enough numbers to have both servers open. 

As for a time frame, we are unable at this time to give a accurate time frame as the server issues are still being troubleshot for S2.     

Have patience as we work to remedy the issue.

Your character should stay the same through all servers.

Treat all servers as the same Chernarus basically.

ok thank you for informing me about this. I will treat all servers as the same world. Also I just put another thread up with the concerns of finding a possible hack.

Is the US server down again having issues or is there a restart. According to restart times it shouldn't be in a restart at this time.

It most likely is down due to low server population. If that's the case then S2 will be open when S1 is completely full.
