We were engaging in very HostileRP going back and forth about each other's clothes and how well we could speak English and such. Vasily asks the man to say "Yeehaw", making reference to his cowboy hat. 

The man then says "Yeehaw" and shapeshifts into Han Solo, where he then blasts Vasily with no initiation.

I went to GM and two guys started talking at me... After a while they started making fun of my clothes and being very rude. We were arguing, they made me very angry and then when that guy said ,,Say Yee-Haw for me Cowboy!" I took the chance and dealt with it like a real cowboy. You deserved it for you behaviour. I asked you if you speak Russian and you didn't answer. Then you said you're Chernorussian and when I spoke Chernorussian... the same result. Everything you "said" in russian was ,,Speaking Russian: Fuck off" and more rude stuff. I got killed due to the de-sync/lag I guess on my side, but stil doesn't matter.

PS: The video is not full. And the 3rd guy, wearing purple armband and gasmask. Was he your friend? If he wasn't then he didn't have any reason to kill me? It was between us and you.

I meet the boys at our home, GM, and we hang out a bit. A few randoms show up (the accused) and they and my friends (Vasily, Alexei) have hostile RP. I act as a third party and try to calm things down.  They don't calm down so I remove myself from between them. I go to make a fire, while they continue. Vasily asks him to say  yeeha, he says it and RDM's Vasily and Alexei out of nowhere. I run for cover, and spray down his friend and then him.

Also, just pointing out the fact that he RDM'd both ItsKevin and BostonDonut, with absoultely no initiation, or even a threat.

I've came to Green Mountain, saw two guys running towards us, talking something. They started making fun of Artyom. They were arguing for a while and then I went a bit away from them. The other guy (most rude one) came by me, didn't say anything and obviously checked my pulse, because he was very close to me. Then I heard the Yee Haw and Artyom killed them both. If they would be that rude to me, I would do the same thing if they wouldn't stop. Then I got lag and died

My inventory is really buggy in the video due to a setting I was using in my OBS recording software. Also, 10/10 spray.

Lastly, the reason Dimitr was killed was because he was 100% part of your dynamic group. Because you straight up killed Boston and Kevin, I gained KoS rights on you and Dimitr. I sprayed a great number of bullets in you/in your direction, which ended up mostly hitting Dimitr due to server lag and my amazing aim. I ran around the Admin building, believing the server was crashing, stopped my recording for better frames, reloaded, crawled under the wall, and came back to finish you off for killing my two friends.

Verdict:

Artyom Lesnicki - RDM - Guilty

Reason:

First of all, you show no understanding of how our rules work, considering you have been banned for this behaviour before.

In this Report HERE we already told you that you need to initiate and just because you initiate, does not mean you can kill the person. That would depend on compliance or non compliance.

Hostile roleplay does NOT grant you KoS rights.

I try to make this really clear:

In the situation which can be seen in the video, it was heated and you insulted each other. That is fine BUT does NOT grant any KoS rights, not on you, nor at the other party.

If you wanted to do something about it in this situation, you would have had to initiate!

"Drop your weapon and get your hands up NOW"  -Drop your weapon and get your hands up- is the demand. To be on the safe side, you can add "Or you will die" - That would be the consequense of Non compliance.

You also need to give ENOUGH time for your "hostage" to comply because of lag and the game mechanics.

You CAN NOT just shoot someone because you feel offended by some insults.

At this point I want to talk about roleplay and what this means for our Server:

We want to create a Roleplay community that is as realistic as possible. Of course this is limited because of game mechanics. However, would you really just kill someone in real life because he insulted you? Yes, the game tries to create an apocalyptic scenario, that still does not transform anyone into a heartless super soldier who does not care about killing - no matter of your backstory - that is just unrealistic and you would not kill just anyone on your way.

You would be scared, you would value your own life because you want to survive.

If you want to just kill people in the game - Join a public DayZ Server.

Facts are:

You killed someone without initiation - RDM -:

- Attack another person or group without and valid in character reason which would justify a hostile action.

- You must make your hostile intention clear and unambiguous and state each demand before you can harm the victim(s) for non-compliance.

- Your character must behave realistically and appropriately to the different situations you participate in.

Always prioritize role play over rule play.

You will now have time to think about if you want to play here, or if you only want some "easy" kills.

If you decide that you want to play here, then this will only be possible if you play by our rules.

Rules we have created to make sure everyone can have an awesome roleplay experience. Rules that allows everyone to create a story. Rules that make a roleplay server possible.

You will not continue this playstyle on DayZRP!

EDIT: Btw, pulse checking is allowed. There is no rule against, as long as you do not use the information ingame. For example, you pulse check someone and you now know the name of the person is "Tom" - You cannot say "hi Tom" - you have to act like you do not know the name till Tom might tell you his name.
