Lore Question

Are they isolated case's of islands that no longer have infected on the island its self. If so will we ever see these islands as we care opening a borders to arma 3. I think I heard somewhere that greenland has no infected on it. It would be good to know if they are any other island about that have no infected on and would be interesting maybe to have an event where we go to one of these island. Its just another way to expand the lore and make DayZRP lore larger.

Hey SafeString.

We are going to expand to Exile, and currently the map we are going for is Esseker, which is another ''part'' of the Soviet Union.

This means there will most likely not be any Islands as for now.

And therefor an event like this might be hard to do.

From what I've heard, there will also be infected in Esseker (as long as everything works). Unless something has changed with the development, they were planning on using the Zombies and Demons mod, which would mean infected would be apart of the lore in someway.

They dont spawn with a jumpsuit. Plus The question was is they any island that are infect free. Not Esseker. Esseker is just the name of the city there.

Iceland is currently the only remaining location and island to be untouched by infection, obviously excluding islands that are not inhabited by mankind. The infection did reach Greenland.

ExileRP/ArmA 3 will be based in Esseker, which is a fictional area in the mountain range of Zelen Gora [iRL National Park], which is located in the Republic of Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina. And is located south-west of Foča. 

And to correct Chow here, Bosnia was never a part of the Soviet Union and was a part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, which was an independent state and not a part of the Warsaw pact.

Presently, you do spawn with a jumpsuit, you just don't spawn parachuting in from a plane.

Yes it does. Just thinking of new way that the lore can be expanded and new game-mode we can use to keep people like my self interested. Know quite a few people that would like to see a place where mankind is taking control again.

It will be fixed thou. Even if it means adding a script where it replace your clothes after you spawn you on the map (so you will spawn still black screen as your in dubug you would choose maybe or just randomly be given clothes then you would be place in a spawn location. I mean that how I imagine we would do it if the jumpsuit are hardcoded to the mod.

Well - if you ask me it's perfectly feasible that there would be a small series of Islands that wouldn't have any infected on them - take Utes for an example - it had a large CDF base on it and a relatively small civilian population - coupled with the naval blockade of the mainland - it is quite possible that Utes is free of infected. Iceland is also infected free, due to them closing off their boarders before things went crazy, but small strings of Islands such as a few of the Hawaiian Islands, or a some of the lesser inhabited Philippine Islands could be infected free due to them lacking in any easy way for the infected to find their way onto them.

So to answer your question - I don't see why there couldn't be a few islands and places in the world which were entirely infected free - but they would have to be isolated and few and far between.
