New blood, here! (Hello!)

Hello everyone!

I am about as new to this game as you can be, as I've just purchased and downloaded the game yesterday after researching which post-apocalyptic zombie MMO would be a better choice for me. Part of that is inspecting any Role-playing communities, as I enjoy that part of MMOs.

I've definitely read about how toxic communities can be in this game, but I wanted to try coming here, as it seems more... friendly here. I mean the rules to abide by seem very promising at least where even if my character isn't necessarily safe all the time if at all, at least I  will feel safe.

I haven't submitted a whitelist application, as I figured I should actually PLAY the game and get a bit of a feel for it before I do that, but when I do and if I am accepted, the character I will be playing is called Annie. I'll have more information on her and how she'll fit in after I study the needed lore to follow on here.

I bought the game like 3 weeks ago myself and after three days in the public servers and supposed RP servers, I was lucky enough to find this one and i havent played anything since all i play now is DayZRP and it's so amazing. Can't wait to meet you in game one of these days!!!!!

Welcome to the community. 

As for playing the game before you join the server you are more than welcome to fill out the whitelist while you play on some of the public servers. But that doesn't mean you can't fill out your application and snoop around the forums. I would suggest looking at some of our guides that your fellow community members have taken the time to write up. There are some very helpful ones. Be sure to jump on into the TS to the newcomers channel to get to know some people, and if you have any questions. PM me or one of the Community Helpers if you have any questions, OR! Come on up to the Help Desk to talk to us

I did the same thing when it came to the game but I was dumb and the first time I played I logged onto the coast and had no idea of the buttons, only

to run into two people who wanted to eat me. (That didn't end well...)

Hey there i hope you have a amazing story to tell us when you start joining the community more, There are all different types of things that you need to know about before heading in game and the rules tell you all that (rules) and also there are so many people in this community that you will love and talk to along the way. You will get robbed killed even rob some people you self and get all the gear you want from people; and before you head into game what is you character going to be Crazy , Loving , Ect.... We don't have a lot of girls in this community and we love to see more singing up. If you are looking to join groups here are some that you may like it dislike these groups have different rules and background story's  to them it would be better to find one that will bass around your character (Groups)      The Thread    Group Ideas in  the group ideas people have put there ideas  forward and there ideas are being looked at by staff you can still join these groups on the group thread by private messaging the leader of the group.

 

Also donations this helps out the community and helps it run the severs you just don't hand over donations you will get perks for it as well by the following listed there are some of the perks that you can get by helping out the community this is up to you i am just putting it out there

Oh my goodness! Thank you for all the warm welcomes, well wishes and advice! I've been poking around in the lore and rules and mostly lurking thus far. And today or tomorrow I hope to play a little bit of the game after work.

What I have going for Annie thus far is that she was a person in the medical field who volunteered to help aid Chernarus when the UN stepped in. Probably through the Red Cross or something... so she's stuck over there at the end of the world.

For sake of fitting into the lore, I think Annie would have had a few people she came over with who are gone now, and she would have been travelling on her own trying to survive, scavenging, and if desperate enough, stealing food and supplies. I think Annie would still be trying to remain a good person... or whatever a good person would look like in this kind of world.

That's all I've got right now.
