Link to the source of punishment (report/post):

Why the verdict is not fair:

The verdict is fair to an extent. Yes, I agree there was punishment needed for my post as it was out of order in terms of the community rules. I feel that 30 warning points for the post is way over the top and that the staff members who partook in it overreacted and issued a much harsher punishment than would usually be handed out for a post like that. I wasn’t testing the waters, I was just venting out my anger in response to Saoirse getting disbanded, I know now that I shouldn’t have posted and kept it to myself. In hindsight I can see why I was punished however I do not see why I didn’t receive the standard punishment for flaming.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:

Prior to the disbandment of Saoirse I was told by a fellow member that certain groups/people were attempting to “Stack reports” on us so that the group would be disbanded. It certainly seemed that way as reports were coming up and there was literally no rulebreaks present, it seemed to me that these reports were put up simply to damage the groups reputation.

Then that's when I overreacted when I immediately went to the community memes thread and posted something along the lines of “To the salty cunts who got us disbanded we will still rob you for your M4’s” as there was some sort of “meme war” happening on that thread and I knew there would be something put up about Saoirse getting disbanded I decided to get the first say on the matter.

In no ways am I trying to justify what I said as I know it was wrong, although not wrong enough to bring me from 0% to a permanent ban.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal:

Removal of Permanent ban.

What could you have done better?:

Think about the consequences before posting and subsequently not have posted.

Hi

After discussing your case in the Admin team we have come to an agreement.

You behaviour leaves us with no other choice but to let you stay banned or put you on a final warning.

You did not flame others, you insulted them and you knew you would get punished for it.

Did you really think you could call other people 'salty cunts' and just receive a few points?

We are willing to let you back on a final warning.

This means, you will be unbanned but you will receive 25 warning points for at least 3 months.

After 3 month you can appeal this final warning.

If you have improved your behaviour, if you have showed us you are active and a productive member of the community, then a removal of the points could be the outcome. However, if you choose to be not active for 3 months to avoid any trouble, the points will remain.

We hope you take this chance to show us that you have changed. Any behaviour like this in the future will cause your permanent removal from the community.

Read our community RULES

I hope this is clear to you now.

Appeal accepted - Final warning implemented
