We've lived here all our life. Floor 11 room 27 was our home, it was cramped but it worked. As children, We spent most of our time in the communal garden playing football. Me, Yuri and Boris would often try to teach the kids who lived in our building how to play and made sure they followed the rules. That's how things were in our building, When times got tough, We would help one another and make the most of our situation.

All of this started to go downhill when a strange infection hit South Zagoria and moved west into Miroslavl, our home. Most of the building became sick quickly, and some got paranoid as news moved west of cannibalistic type attacks. When Petr from the floor above got sick he tried killing his mother, their father locked him in his bedroom and the authorities came. Apparently, when the local police opened the door and were instantly attacked by him, what we thought had been Mrs. Chaloupka dropping her pans once more turned out to be our friend Petr being shot. Soon after more and more of them turned, they would scream and attack anyone.

Me and my brothers took all of mother's old cabinets and blocked the stairwell door with it, the elevator had been out of commission for some time now so we didn't have to worry about that. The floor shared food and things went rather smoothly for the situation at hand but living in isolation was hard for some. One of the girls from our floor had enough of it and one day she snuck through the barrier we had set up months ago. She came back and told us there was nothing, no people, no military, nothing. Her parent's scolded her but we thought nothing of it, We all thought everything would return to how it was. We all went to bed with the thought of this really being it, trapped in this building.

We awoke to some loud bangs from down the hallway. The day we had dreaded had finally come. A group who had held out in a nearby apartment complex had entered our building and started taking everything and killing anyone in their way. Me and my brothers quickly barricaded our door and waited, there wasn't anything we could do. When we heard them leave, we peeked our head out the door and what we saw changed us forever.

Most of our old friends were left slaughtered on the ground and some were barely alive, we cared for our wounded as best we could but in the end most died. Our mindset had changed, we FUCKING hated people like the ones that had ruined what we had on our floor.

We knew we couldn't stay there any longer, we got what we could ready and we left. Our uncle from Chernogorsk used to teach us to shoot when we went hunting around the woods nearby. We knew we were going to have use what he taught us to make sure what had happened to us in our home would never happen again. We would not let anyone get away with what they did that night.

We started moving east towards Chernogorsk and along the way picked up those with like minded ideas to ours. It took a little while for all of us to trust each other but, once they heard our story and we heard theirs, we were like family. We realised that most of the people we met weren't bad people, they were good people forced to do bad things to survive.

Once we got to Chernogorsk we realized very quickly the situation here was the same as back home. Uncle Anotoly was missing but luckily he had left his hunting rifle, we scavenged some supplies and weapons. We ran into trouble when a small group of people entered the town looking for supplies. This was the first group we had met since the apartment building, we decided we would stand our ground and not let them take what they want and kill anyone so easily like the others but, before a shot was fired we had realized, these people weren't here to kill us, they were trying to find safety and supplies like us. We greeted them and traded supplies before they carried on their way West. They told us people had gone mad, cannibalism, murder, and looting had become normal occurrences. We realized the people of South Zagoria needed help, and we were going to be that help. Today we asked people around the area about groups that stole from them and murdered innocents and got information on some, we'll be using these leads to put an effort to ending these things forever... We're willing to die for the betterment of mankind.

Our experience on Floor 11 changed us forever, for better or for worse, we're going to do what we think is right.

1. Scavenge enough supplies for us to survive.

2. Help out those who we can.

3. Disrupt groups that exploit the weak.

4. Establish a home.

5. Learn about groups and settlements around.

6. Reinforce already standing settlements.
