Ban Appeal; [Fergus/Levi Timon]

Why the verdict is not fair:

I believe the verdict is done right, but I also believe that I deserve an unban since I am new to DayZRP and I didn't know some of the things that they handle for example OOC; Besides that I've been banned for AOGM which I believe is something I couldn't choose to do so, bojangler123 was being killed when logged out but from my side it appeared he was standing on the stairs which was fair to me to kill him to make the revenge;

Besides that logging out besides someone that might take revenge of you isn't the best thing to do and I believe there is a "rule" that you need to be out of contact with another player before logging out, now that he mentioned he was going to log out isn't breaking the rule but even then logging out besides someone that you've taken hostage before with "your" group seems to be fair to me to kill him. All with all, I've learned from this case that I should not kill another player that mentioned he will logout, but next time I will tell him to not log out in sight of me or another player unless he is trusted.

Additional statements/comments explaining your point of view:

As I stated above, I am being new to the whole idea of role playing somethings I should've done better and or he should have done better.

I'd have learned from this and watched the rules over and over for a couple of times to make 100% sure I'd get the idea of the whole role playing, so now I am aware of that I'd want to have a second change, I am not saying I am being inpatient because I have a temp ban, I just want to point out I have read the rules again and I am sure about the rules now and won't make any trouble or mistakes that will take me into trouble such as a ban.

What would you like to achieve with this appeal:

Doing and showing that I can do better and I can prove by doing so, I was am new to role playing and didn't really get into my role; like crying etc.. I've seen some videos on YouTube which clearly showed me how to do so, And I really want to prove by doing so and enjoying the time being on the server other then staying away from it and not learning how to interact with the amazing people on it.

What could you have done better?:

I should have understood that he was logging out and I shouldn't have killed him under any circumstances since he mentioned he was logging off, Also about the OOC and role playing I should have been more realistic; Which I will; I would love to get in the way of role play and meeting up others and start being a well known guy; Other than that I've mentioned everything I wanted to; So here by my sorry and I hope there will be a good outcome of this.

Sincerely Levi Timon.

Fergus,

We as a team have looked over not only this report, but this ban appeal immensely. In this appeal you failed to present any new evidence aside from you pleading innocence due to you being new to the community and RP as a whole. This is indeed true that you are new, you have been a part of this community for 7 days now. But this does not excuse your ignorance of our rules and disregarding them completely by Abusing Game Mechanics to fulfill your IC vendetta.

You even said yourself in your appeal.

It was, and while we understand that you are new to the concept of roleplaying. This does not under any circumstance make you exempt from the rules, but it does allow you room to improve. However, just because you should improve doesn't mean you have to do it alone. Members of the community do offer an RP class to help you truly improve on your roleplay.

Fergus, while it is your right to create a ban appeal, in a ban appeal you should provide new evidence or point out where you think the reviewing team made a mistake or judged incorrectly.

But, with the above stated. We have decided that the standard punishment will stand. During this time away from in-game activities, we wish for you to fore-go the rules once again and truly discern them to their highest degree.
