Windows Media Player

Hope everyone is having a great day. I come here asking a question about my Windows Media Player. And before you recommend not using WMP and Bandicam, the only budget I have is free and these are all I have (I welcome any free alternatives suggestions). I was trying to pull open a Bandicam file that I recorded 2 days ago to upload onto a report post, and when I double click on any file in my folder, it pops open "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem while playing this file". I have never had this issue before and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Any help or suggestions is appreciated.

Try using VLC player, they have great codecs.

I would also advice you to download something called "K-lite codec pack".

It has all the codecs you'd ever need.
