Inspiration Idea - Re-Kill

Recommended Posts

I was taking some time off the other day to chill and I came across the movie 'Re-Kill', which is a fairly typical zombie shoot-em up with some interesting aspects.

And firstly, for any of you out there who may have already seen the movie, I know it's not exactly going to win any Oscars for 'Best Actor' or 'Best Picture', but that doesn't mean you should write it off.

For anyone needing inspiration for RP, character development and even group ideas, this movie could help you out. The characters, the way they have responded to the crisis on personal and collective levels and some of the groups that has arisen as a result of the near-apocalypse could really help nudge you in the right direction for those of you in a bit of a creativity drought patch.

I wouldn't recommend copy and pasting a character/group from the movie, but rather try to understand how the personality of a person and their reaction to crisis are related, and then adapt this to a similar idea for your own character :) Obviously enjoy the movie and try not to take it too seriously, but if you want to take something from it then pay special attention to interviews in the film where they go into detail about their background, and how when talking about their past they approach different aspects of it with varying levels of enthusiasm and emotion.

Also for any of you who have watched it, what do you think? Do you think that there is any decent inspiration in the film worth watching it for?

Anyone wanting a link to watch it is free to PM me.
