Detailed description of the events:

Me and my friends take a man hostage earlier for being a cop. I hate cops ic. We do torture rp etc and he shows no pain or emotion and keeps sassing us. I decide to spare him and we make him our slave. Everything is great and he leaves etc. I come back to the mountain and hes there and we continue to rp as if hes a slave. I give him some ooc tips and not to talk OOC in viop. I then am getting tired and decide to go to bed. I emote out that i lay down on the bunk and he punches me to death while logged out. This makes no sense to me considering I had no way to defend myself plus I was logged out.

We've some on going issues unfortunately, We started with you holding me as a hostage with your group of five or more people;

After being punished and slaughtered you found out you think I am a bad RP player, but keep in mind that not every single person has a low pain level,

My player in-game had a career as Police man and Mariner which means he had some really bad experiences compared to what you've done to me, therefor my player character has some bad mental experiences which you haven't tried at all, After that another player came into Green mountain and your group decided to let me free, which I appreciated but I wanted a revenge so I decided to come back after having some food and drinks, and after coming back I realized everyone was gone and only you there left of the group, you told me to do some more farming which I did, then you gave me some OOC tips, and decided to log out; problem is he is saying he logged out in the room of the building but he logged out clearly on my screen on the stairs so I decided to knock him out and take his item(s) to make the revenge I mentioned earlier I came back for, but then we came into a discussion on Team Speak and the GM we were talking with said he logged out before I knocked him out, so the problem is that he said he logged out in the room of the building which wasn't the case, he logged out on the stairs on my screen, so; I agree it's not fair to kill him when being offline, so if he feels like I've done all of the things above he mentioned wrong; sure I'll take full responsibility for that, but do know; logging out on stairs next to a guy you held hostage isn't the best decision you could have done.

I'm willing to give your item(s) back, and take the responsibility everyone should have taken in this case.

Other than that I've nothing more to say than you learn from the mistakes you've made for both of us, next time just make sure no one is around you when logging out especially when someone is around that might take revenge on you.

Logging off (same as server crashes and restarts) don't affect KOS timer and its applies for both sides of conflict/hostage situation.

I haven't logged out, if you want to be sure let them check the logs.

Verdict:

Levi Timon - AOGM - Guilty. Unnecessary ooc - Guilty.

Reason:

I will start with the unnecessary ooc, there really is no excuse for talking ooc in voice in DayZRP.

It is as easy as typing // in chat but even then ooc in chat should be reserved for emergency's.

Bojangler typing ooc in response to your voice ooc is acceptable as it is one of the only ways to constructively deal with someone

talking in ooc. Bojangler when you typed in ooc telling him to add you on steam this was definitely unnecessary.

There are other ways that you can do this without affecting the rp. You could have simply asked a gm for their profile so you could get in contact with them.

That being said Bojangler you will be getting a written warning and Levi will get 5 points for unnecessary ooc.

The abuse of game mechanics is very blatant, while you did have kos rights on him you waited till he was logging out to kill him.

You actually killed the clone that was left behind when he was logging off the server, as the logs show.

You say that you didn't realize that he was logging out, i find this hard to believe as the character does specific actions when logging out.

For example sitting down then standing up after 5 to 10 seconds of standing still.

This is clear abuse of game mechanics as you waited for him to log off to kill him.

In this situation because in no way did the unnecessary ooc create the situation of AOGM because of this both accusations will be punished.

With the above stated the following applies:
