The idea of interview a community member is to take yet another step forward towards bringing the

community together.

The idea is to create a thread where we will interview a random community member.

During this interview we will ask the community member some questions regarding the community and how their DayZRP experience has been.

This week Terra interviewed:

~ Tell us something unique about yourself! ~

When I first joined DayZRP, I fell in love with it so much that I wrote an e-mail to the DayZ Developers asking them to finish the game and try their hardest because I wanted to play DayZRP with the finished DayZ Product...!

~ How has your DayZRP experience been? ~

It's had it's ups and downs. I've gotten bans plenty of times, but I have been working on my behavior. I've re-read the rules and been asking as many questions as I can (shoutout to Spartan for helping me out).

Besides my behavioral standpoint on the servers, I must say, that I've never had a DayZ experience such as this. I've met interesting people, and made friends that I never thought I would.

~ Have you made any friends during your time in this community? ~

Oh yeah. It first started with Redspear461 (Levi Dixon) WAY back when I was brand spankin' new to the server. We played as cannibal brothers. Quite a fun time.

When he took a long break from DayZRP, I ran into my now good friend Willem, who I introduced to my friends Soapysoap and or3o_kush. Between the three of us, we all ran around doing robberies with a simple goal in mind --- get our name known --- From there, we met randoms that we put into our group, we were huge.

Now, I've got my ex-501st buddies: It's_Kevin, Jezza27, vevalaboomboom, Bojangler123, Alex Mane, the Dankness that is Hebeejebies, DustyMayFire, and Patch among others.

I've also made friends among the forums, like KennyBoyo, Blake LeBlanc, and Heroz_Nick

~ Is there something that you would like to see added to our community? ~

Nope. It's fine the way it is!

~ What are some of your most memorable DayZRP experiences? ~

Wow. There's plenty.

1. Being interrogated by Jack Dome on the airfield about why I told a woman to get on the ground.

2. Killing someone for non-compliance then trying to eat them (Body wouldn't cut up)

3. Having a political debate with Vasily Krasnav, eventually ending in me calling him a communist and running away.

4. Running into Katie Samuels at the airfield, RP'ing all day from there to Green Mountain. At a fire we made, I try to kiss her, and I'm told "But I don't even like you!"

5. Any and all hostage situations that I've been in. At this point, probably over 100.

  5a. Killing four dudes with an M4 because they didn't know I was an inside man.

6. Radio Chatter threads pertaining to Alcyone and Alyssa Morgan. This is some insane character development.

~ Do you have a video of your favorite roleplay moment you would like to share with us? ~

~ If a Zombie apocalypse would happen in Real life, what would you do and what items you would try to take with you? ~

Go to the Walmart, get what I can and fill the trunk of a car. Go to Home Depot, and hold out there. Make food runs whenever necessary. Weapons Galore in Home Depot.

~ How would you describe your play style on our Servers? ~

Bandit. All the way. I've taken about 10+ people hostage with my friends at one point. What I do during every hostage situation:

1. Cut off the person's big toe

2. Grind it up in my mouth.

3. Spit it back in their mouth.

4. "Remember my name! It's Norman 'Bates' Casey!"

~ Is there anything in particular that you're looking forward to with DayZSA? ~

As far as the Public DayZ, I want Battle Royale. As far as RP, I want functional radios. That would be pretty cool if you were actually frisked for a real radio and the radios sounded kindof staticy and fuzzy unlike TS.

~ What do you feel is the best thing about DayZRP and our community? ~

The people. I love the people's stories, their roleplay, what they do, how they do it, and when I'm involved. I love torturing people for the sake of spreading my name, and their's a radio chatter about it, or I hear word about people hunting me for a bounty. Or... someone develops a really in-detail story, and I torture them. I get to be a part of these people's stories.

That is what I love about here.

~ Do you have any tips or hints for newcomers? ~

Don't play a bandit quite yet. Notice this: Bandit... Bandit

Wait until you have some decent knowledge of the rules and know how to RP for some amount of time before you attempt being a bandit

~ Is there anything you would like to see more of within the community? ~

More friendly factions. Everyone's bandits these days, except for a few. I'd love to see more people for the bad guys to fight with. I'd like the whole thing to turn into a 'good vs. evil' type thing. It kind of connects back to the 'What do you feel is the best thing about DayZRP and it's community' section. I love to be a part of things, and that would include fighting good guys and such. It's good fun, it really is...
