Taiga Dominion [Open Recruitment]

[spoiler=Pre-outbreak]In the year 1975, there were multiple thieves out there and thinking of great heists. One of those many thieves was Catherine Oboro and her husband Kei Oboro, both were part of a big organization known as the Mots cachés(Hidden Words). They worked together to help found and run this organization with their friend Albert Spaggiari on March 9th 1975. Mots cachés was probably the biggest thieves organization in the world, because it had worldwide connections, and street smart leaders. During the year of 1975 in late December. Albert Spaggiari was talking about leaving the organization in Kei and Catherine’s hands, because he wanted to live a simple life and just take pictures. Both of them understood, that he just wanted to retire from being a thieves leader, and just live his life. Albert left and went his own way. Kei and Catherine ran the organization with the help of friends, the Albion family and the Davidson family. All of these families kept the secret of Mots cachés to themselves and they all kept documentation of the doings and dealings with other organizations incase something were to happen to them all.

The year is 1976 of April, the Mots cachés is still standing but with fewer buyers and a lot less interest from their regular dealers. The leaders of Mots cachés quickly tried to think of ways to accumulate money and still have the organization running smoothly. They were struggling to make enough money to make an even split amongst the workers. They made a decision and it was their greatest decision for the Mots cachés. They contacted an old friend, Albert Spaggiari, they told them the trouble they were in and how much they need his help. Albert told them he could be happier to hear from them, he was actually about to get a hold of them himself. He told them about how his life has been and what he has been doing. He also told them that he wasn’t enjoying it anymore and that he wants to get back into the gig. He explained to them this brilliant plan. A plan so crazy that they wouldn’t believe it. He wanted to rob the Société Générale bank. Everyone paused and looked at each other and looked at Albert. They couldn’t believe his idea and everyone sat down and discussed it. He showed them his plan and blueprints of the bank's vaults. They were close enough to the sewers, that they could just dig their way in. They told him that this is an amazing plan, but with the amount of people that they currently have, it would be difficult to really do this mission. He told them he had a friend, who knew some friends. They were later introduced to Simon Spaggiari, Albert’s cousin. He told them that Simon had all the connections they needed to get some workers for the job. Everyone sat down and talked over about the heist and when they should do it. Albert told them the perfect time to do it, the long weekend of Bastille Day, the bank would be closed and no one would suspect a thing.

The day came and the tunnel to the bank’s vaults was complete. Albert had people working on this tunnel two months a head. He knew it would take a long time to get that tunnel down, but they got it down, just in the nick of time. All the workers that dug the tunnel were told to go home and expect to be paid after the heist is complete. The Oboro, Albion family and Davidson family all attend the heist and the picnic they had in the vaults. This was Mots cachés biggest heist and it was a complete success, all thanks to Albert.

After everything had cooled down, the leaders of Mots cachés had a meeting about what the future holds for them. Where are they going to hide some of the goods they had taken. What they didn’t know was, that they were all planned to die slowly, Albert had placed vents of Radon in the meeting room. He was going to take all of the money and the goods and leave the Mots cachés for dead. The reason Albert got in touch with Mots cachés, was because he didn't’ have the money to pay the people that were working on the tunnels and to keep this heist a secret. He used Mots cachés. This was his master plan all along.

Time passes. Albert is finely found, but he is dead. He had died of throat cancer. Along with Mots cachés’ leaders. Thier legacy will live on through their children. Because of the documentation that they had all left behind.

Xen Oboro, son of Catherine and Kei Oboro. Went on this mission to find the treasure that was stolen from Mots cachés. He looked over his parents documents so he could find where Albert had hidden all the money and who was in contact with. His parents were hot on his trail. But they lost him. Xen did everything he could to find the offspring of the Albion family and Davidson family. He also went to look for Dr. Hall. Dr. Hall is the man that treated all the members of Mots cachés. He did everything he could to help them, but sadly they had all passed.. To Xen’s surprise, everything he was looking for was in a place called Chernarus. Dante Albion, Weaver Davidson, Dr. Hall, and it was also the last place that Albert visited to meet with someone. The importance of all these people was that they were connected to Mots cachés. He went to find all of them and to unite everyone, to share the wealth of Mots cachés.

[spoiler=Post Outbreak]The Taiga Dominion was formed from a group of individuals that don’t like violence and aggressive behavior. The likelihood of ever joining our ranks is little to none. We are a tight-knit group of thieves. We have our secrets and plans on when we need more resources and when we need more people. We take what we need and what we want, but never forcefully, but always strategically. We are not any heroes like ‘Robin Hood’ where we steal from the rich and give to the poor. We take what we want for us, not anyone else, we only care for our own greed and riches.

Xen Oboro is my name. I am the leader and father of the Taiga Dominion. People that have come into our clan, were asked to join us, they never came and found us. I formed the clan in secrecy, asked people that didn’t have a lot if they wanted to make a living. Those that joined were eager to go out onto the field and test their ability to steal without having to deal with trouble in the end. Everyone has learned and enabled themselves to be in sync with one another. The plans that we devise to take an individual's belongings without them ever knowing that we even took it.

Xen Oboro had been avoiding everyone in Chernarus and stealing here and there, seeing this and that. But he eventually grew tired with his petty thievery and began to look for people that were interested in helping him establish the Taiga and a network with other groups. He explained to them his plans and what it means to be a Taiga. All the people that he gathered he began teaching about the art of stealth and what do in situations that aren't in their favor.

They have since learned a lot about other groups and names of important people. They will keep this information and use it when necessary. 

Now, the Taiga Dominion has been re-established and the group grows and they still haven't been identified or members haven't told the secrets that they hold dear.

[spoiler=IC stories]

Taiga is the Boreal forest that surrounds the area around us. In these forests We have many inhabitants; Wolves, Bears, Lynx, Minx, Caribou, Foxes, etc. Out of all the animals the Fox is the icon and teacher of our clan. He never actively goes out to harm another animal, but he will spectate and watch where other animals may have left their extra food. He will stealthily go in and grab it and eat it, then he will save it for later for himself when he is full. We take these teachings and inherit them into our way of living. Never hurt another person for their belongs, but persuade him into leaving them unattended so we can help ourselves and share amongst each other. 

When we are meeting people we will never refer to ourselves as the Taiga Dominion, we will simply call ourselves The Taiga. We will only tell our people what our name is and what it means to be a part of it. Our name means a lot to us and our way of living. In the condition the world is going, we have to do whatever it takes to live, even if it means stealing from a person who is near death. We don't care for them, we only care for us, and our clan members. We are the scavengers and lurkers waiting for the right opportunity to take and run.

The fox is what teaches us how to steal and be patient. It shows us how to appreciate our skills. It tells us silence is the great power that you can have.

-Steal all harmful destructive weapons and keep them(Guns, grenades, etc)

-Feed and nurture our clan (Steal food and store it for us to always be feed)

-Create a fluent way to recruit outsiders (Because, people die everyday)

-Live off of the land(Hunting wild animals and harvesting edible plants)

-Never kill another person(We are a peaceful clan. The only exception to this, is if our life is in great danger and if a member has reached the rank of Contractor)

-Never give out your real name (We will use alias’ to help cover up who we really are)

-Always wear different clothing (We don’t want to be described easily by people)

-Disguise our voices (So, our victims never really know what we sound like)

-Never use guns (Our only weapons are knives, machetes, spears, bows, etc Contractors are the only members that are allowed to use guns.)

- Create a social network with all groups (Sell intel and distribute it accordingly)

-Document all groups, individuals, camps, stashes, other groups plans, travelling routes, and any information that may come of use.

-Ensure the organization evolves and rises in intellectual power.

[align=left]For us to know and learn about other factions we offer to do secret intelligence services for a price. Price will be negotiated between the customer and the person that is going to be doing the mission. This service will benefit both groups, but mainly ours, as it helps build our data and information about other groups and the happenings in the land. We will use this intelligence to help make better routes in our travelling and it will also help us know who to avoid. This intelligence that is gathered will help us find more places to hit. Every camp that is hit will be marked on our map and we will note that it we have raided it already.

[align=left]These services will be on a contract basis, meaning if they don't agree with our terms of services then they don't get any services. We will terminate any contract without notice or warning.

[align=left]We will make a public service announcement. We won't necessarily describe what kind of services will be offered, but we will give  our contact information for those that are interested. Interested customers will be given a time and place to meet. 

[spoiler=Description]The leaders are the ones that ensure the group is kept organized and it's resources are evenly distributed among it's members. The leaders maintan order, promote it's members to new ranks, issue contracts, issue missions, recruit new members, and keep documentation.

Leaders have every ability of all ranks. They can wield guns if they please.

[spoiler=Description]Contractors are among the highest ranks of the Taiga Dominion. This rank is issued to those members that have proven they can be stealthy, maintain their stress level in sticky situations, keep the secret of the Taiga Dominion a secret, and follow orders. Contractors take on contracts from different missions and negotiate their payment. Contractors also issue orders down to the lower ranks. They train the newcomers, they recommend promotions to the leaders, and are the only ones that are allowed to kill anyone that is a threat, they are also the one that is allowed to use a gun. The purpose of letting this rank use a gun, is so they blend in, and allow them to complete their contract. Contractors are the most respected members of the Taiga Dominion and are already promised a spot in the leaders council, when one of the leaders pass on.

Josh Shorts - Payninator

[spoiler=Description]Seekers are the ones that seek out information from anyone and give this information to the leaders. They also seek out new members and try to find out if the person or people they are talking to is worthy of inviting them to the group. Seekers are the ears to the Taiga Dominion. They manage to keep track of all the information about people, places, camps, secrets, and anything else they might have heard during their travels and later provide this to the leaders and contractors. The information that they provide comes in handy when a contract is being made or a plan to raid a camp.

[spoiler=Description]Thief is just that, a thief. These guys do everything they can to steal and get away. Members that have left recruit become the rank of Thief. Thief is where new members prove themselves to the leaders and contractors. This is where it all happens. If a thief has proven they are more than a thief they are moved to a rank better suited for them. A theif can become a contractor, just as fast as a seeker can, that's if they have made a great impression to the Leaders and Contractors. The thief rank allows new members to show they are more than just a thief, they are more than just a member, they can become a leader.

[spoiler=Description]Recruits are the newest members. They are the future of the Taiga Dominion. People that have become a recruit, already proven they can keep a secret and have shown interest in our ways. Anyone that been recruited has a future in the group and may one day become a leader.

All recruits are not completely subject to the rules of the group, as they are on a trial basis and whatever they do will determine their place within the group or dismissal.

[spoiler=OOC]The Origins of the Taiga Dominion is completely made up. The only real life person in the story is Albert Sparriari.

Our goal in game is to make stealing more interesting and socializing with other groups happen as much as possible. The idea behind the group isn't necessarily about getting all the gear that we want, but for people to learn different ways to achieve a passive robbery and to interact with as many people as we can. We want to encourage new players to join us and learn how to roleplay and avoid killing people as much as possible. We want to ensure all members enjoy themselves and we want all people we encounter to like what kind of roleplay that we provide. We hope that we can make robberies feel fun, less aggressive and more interactive.

It's not a robbery... it's theft. You use persuasion in order for them to feel comfortable enough to put their weapons on the ground as well as their belongings. Once you invite them to sit next to the fire with you... You have a friend sneak in and grab their belongings... then everyone else makes an excuse to bail

Seeing as Coreena covered the second question I will answer your first one.

We are going to be way different than White Noise. From what I heard, because I never encountered them. They were very timid and hidden type of people. The difference between us and them, is that we won't be hiding ourselves, we will just blend with the rest of the people that are walking around and surviving in Chernarus. We won't raise suspicion that we are even part of a secret society of thieves. We won't have a sanctuary or anything or the of the sort, but we will have a place to hide our goods and treasures. This secret place will often be moved and under constant watch.

So, no. We are nothing like them. I hope this answers your question.
