BEGINNINGS

Our country has had no break in suffering since we were released from Imperialist rule. We have been the subject of bullets and guns since they arrived in our country. We have been subjected to all the horrors human beings can endure. Yet we are not known. No one cares about us. We see the world act when one man kills six, but when one child is killing dozens, nobody turns an eye to us. Our country was once a source of peace and fairness in these lands. Now it has descended into something very bad. We once lived in homes, now we live in the jungle. We have been driven from our homes and forced to fight back and so we have for many summers and many winters. Our country drove us out because we defended ourselves, this is the nature of our lives. Abducted from our homes, given a gun, given a machete, forced to kill. Young or old it did not matter to our commanders. What mattered to them is that we could protect them. We fought over meaningless land and meaningless causes, but we continued to fight and there was no good to stop us from doing so. Our commanders brought us money, shelter and a chance for a future. This is the only way to advance in our country. We advanced. The white men in blue call us war criminals, we call them pests. The world looks on our continent as nothing until they see potential for money.

Our cause was the cause for equality. Our government took all we had and sold it to the man from China, the man from Iran. We were left with nothing and soon came to realise our government did not care for us, they did not want any work from us. To them this country was their property and we were the rodents pestering its progress. We would never stand for such a government and so we rose up. Les Forces de Defense du Peuples (P.U.P.) was formed to protect the sacredness of our country, to protect our land, to put its people back to work, to put the country back to work. We had become a rental property for foreign nations and our commander deemed this ill-fitting. We rose and we fought for years with our government. We fought to no avail. Men were lost, children were lost, women were lost. Whole villages would be burnt or destroyed, nothing remaining. This was the nature of much of the youth. Our end came quicker than had been anticipated. The bite-eaters came for our bodies and soon enough we were fighting soldiers who we had already killed. The bite-eaters killed the conflict, but they killed everyone in it too. A man would be your comrade one day and the next day he would be eating you. Africa was no longer viable.

Commander and his most trusted and skilled warriors left our country with haste. There was no reason to stay. We had lost all of our food and none was left to be grown. The world would not help us this time and we would be left to starve or be eaten. We ran. We ran for many days, at first we had the luxury of cars and even at one point a helicopter. Now we have neither. As the days proceed into winter and the nights get darker, so do our odds of achieving any peace and sanctuary. We continue through this planet looking for something, some place, some place where we can settle as we once had, where we can eat, sleep and drink. This would be harder than we had fought and this time the issues of Africa do affect the countries outside of Africa. This time, the people of these countries we roam through understand our suffering.

DEATH AND LOSS

We have lost many brothers. Many. Our commander tells us that there is no difference between a man and a boy. A boy has fingers to pull a trigger, arms to carry equipment, eyes to see the enemy. This is true. A boy is as good as a man, sometimes better. Wars are fought by the young in our country. The old are either rich or have died and the smart are either rich or have left this country. Our lives are basic. We require little clothing, little food, little ammunition. Our skills is keen and our eyes always open. When we got to battle we are invincible warriors, capable of anything. We are Gods when we go to battle, and we are being watched by the spirits, by God, when we fight. Some of us fight without clothes to expose our true form to our God in combat, so that he may grant us victory. Yet no matter how we dress in battle, how we act, many still die. As we charge bridges, buildings, towns, the bullets fly past our airs and the sound of it pelting against the soft skin of your brothers can be heard. Are you next? Should I continue?

When we fled our country and the death that surrounded it even more fell. Not to the bullet pelting against the soft skin of their torso, not to the cut of a machete through their skull. People died because of starvation, dehydration. On our journey we frequently ran out of food, water, provisions, as we crossed the harsh landscape that is Africa. We however made it through Africa. Whether it be by car, truck or train, it does no matter - we tried all. We made it to a place where the grass is green and where the trees bloom with life. While this is not our home, it is something to work with. We will never forget our values, our culture, our people, we will never forget those that sacrificed themselves for us to live. They watch us now from above and one day we will join them. However we will join them when our people have prospered, when we are happy, when we are settled. We will not be thrown aside as a footnote in history and a number of people killed on a Wikipedia page, we will mark our name clearly in history as the ones that were not afraid to live, not afraid to speak, not afraid to win.

There's already a French group, so I think you're going to have a hard time gaining people to join another one. I imagine that whatever Frenchmen were alive would join with the French Foreign Legion.

Because if every single person played a Cherno-Russian group the game would be boring. Not everyone is fond of playing Russian characters. Plus it's a game, it's just supposed to make things a we bit more exciting.

But we are here for a roleplay experience are we not? Is it not realistic to have a Majority cherno-russian populous? Even though this is not the case and it is 90% foreign influence. Maybe if you wasnt another "Military" group, I would of possibly had another view on this. But i just dont think it would be wise to fit into the setting. For a start, why on earth would you head to chernarus, more so south zagoria. Of all the befitting countries to travel through from africa. You choose the initial start location of the virus? Did you come through egypt or spain? Why would you travel through hot, deserted countries, with large copious amounts of space away from all civilisation to come here?

Why is anybody here? Why is there Americans all over the place. The answer for everyone in the RP world being in Chernarus is because the map is in Chernarus. We're here because we don't want to play a Chernarussian or an American, we're trying to be original.

Good luck with this! Don't worry about the negative feedback. As long as you develop a good reason for africans to be in chernarus, then I dont see a problem, I can agree that we need some diversity.

I prefer to put my threads out with a bit of mystery. I don't like a thread entirely based on the history, that's what we tell people in game not what people read on the forums. I put this in the first person point of view to show that. I don't like exposing the entire story on the forum when I can develop it nicely through roleplay. We'll be online and you'll see us. But I will do my best to add in details on why we are here and more about the group without breaking this barrier.
