Some of our people get initiated on at Green Mountain by ex 501st members. One or a couple of them gets dropped and the rest of the 501st decide to hide in the tower for 3 hours (in the case of Eleanor, who "had to" leave. Like an hour more for the other one.)

Seeing as this is something they've got a history of doing, initiating from the tower and waiting up there until the other party gets bored and they can log we decided that nah, not this time. So we make ourselves comfortable. Set up a perimeter, start playing cards and having a picnic and start playing the waiting game. After 3 hours of waiting, with little to no RP from Eleanor from up in the tower, at all she asks for permission to log out up there, obviously we say no after having to wait 3 hours to RP. She doesn't seem to like the answer and replied with a smallish snyde remark and dump all her equipment up there with the other towerdweller and comes down. When she's down she refuses any and all RP and only says she refuses to say anything, goes quiet, attempt to run to force us to kill her. Instead we break her legs, because we're atleast going to get some RP out of the situation. But no. That doesn't work. All we get out of her is OOC threats about it being trolling to actually want to RP with her after 3 hours of waiting and she continues completely refusing any form of RP, until the point she threatens to just log out. At that point, I pull the trigger and let her log. Regret doing that, as we still hadn't received any RP from her whatsoever.

Overall we feel her behaviour was unacceptable on an RP server and she could've handled it alot better. She knew she "had to" go and should've dealt with the cards she was dealt earlier so we could actually RP.

Do also keep in mind that after she had an "OOC emergency" and had to leave, mid-attempt at RP she actively used the forums, wrote a report and actively looked at it for hours after when she was supposed to "sleep because she had work in 4 hours"

Overall I find that behaviour sketchy and questionable.

My pov:

Me and my allie Brandon Mcevoy sat in the tower for about 3-4 hours. I try to hold out the situation for as long as I can before go I do down. I ask for permission to log off but this was understandably denied. I then proceed to climb down so they could kill me (since I can't combat log). I rpd with the group while they were handcuffing me and putting a burlap sack over my head. They then proceeds to ask me to hold a presention for 20 minutes about why my group wanted to initiate.

My PoV:

Me and Brandon McEvoy were in that tower for 3-4 hours before I had to go. I asked for permission to log of, but this was denied. I then climb down the ladder so they can execute me. After I went down the ladder there were two-three guys standing in the bottom of the ladder and told me to raise my hands, I complied (IC didnt know I would be executed since you had stated earlier we could come down from tower we wouldnt be killed). You then proceed to handcuff me and asked me to face a wall and kneel. I roleplayed along and then you then says something like that you want me to hold a presentation for 20 mintues, before you kill me. I then realize you arent doing this for RP but rather because you know I have to go OOC. I then emphasize that I have to go, but again denied, you obviously want to "play" with me. This to me is not RP, but rather some form of you taking advantage of the situation. Also, I knew I would be killed since you told me, so why would I give up information about my allies and comrades, I had nothing to say and awaited my death. 

You put a lot of pressure of that I remained online the forum when I had logged of DayZ. I never said I had to go because of an emergency, but because I had postponed a lot of stuff in my apartment that needed to be done, then prepare for work and try to get some hours sleep, which was unsuccessful. After I logged of Dayz I set up the report (which is now closed) and continued doing the stuff I had to do, while checking in on the open internett tab I had open now and then. The reason why I waited so long is of course that I hoped they would leave.

Eleanor and I held up in the tower for a few hours. We constantly asked the Irish to leave but they refused. Eleanor had to leave so she went OOC asking permission to leave. Understandably, the Irish denied this, so she agreed to climb down the ladder to likely be executed. The Irish then start to mess with her, beating her and delaying her execution knowing full well that she needed to go. She gave it a good 10 minutes before she left saying execute me if you want. To add to this, we tried RPing with you guys from the tower and half of the time you guys never responded.

Would also like to respond to your claim "Seeing as this is something they've got a history of doing, initiating from the tower and waiting up there until the other party gets bored and they can log" due to it being completely incorrect. We have only had one similar situation months ago during summer, when Patch and Heebee nearly squad wiped your group. We weren't waiting to log, we were waiting you out in hopes that you would leave. We always only have 1-2 people in the tower and the rest on the floor.

She makes it very much seem like an emergency in an attempt to leave, she says it wasn't an emergency. Well. I'd say that's very much bad sportsmanship to lie about that in an attempt to not have to RP. As can be seen she offers almost zero RP during the whole thing. We'd have hoped to get atleast a few minutes RP after waiting her out for around 3 hours.

I have said all I have to say in my pov. This was not a good rp experience for me either, you might have talked more, but the fact that you stalled the time only to spite me was not rp in my eyes. I apologise if you think it is bad sportsmanship to log of but I had too, it was not my intention to avoid rp.

Verdict:

Eleanor Falk - Bad RP - Guilty

Reason:

With the provided video evidence of the situation we as a team can come to the conclusion that you are in-fact guilty of Bad RP. When you climbed down the tower that marked your minimal speaking, interaction and non-existent pain RP as the OP and party tore into you with several different weapons. Even, a splitting axe.

However, your execution and now punishment is attributed to your lack of desire to come down from the tower and RP with the Irish. 26 Minutes earlier in another report you could have come down with little to no consequence to your character's life, both sides could have gotten their desired roleplay and you could have gone to work. Effectively avoiding the situation and in turn, this report, as well as the one before.

Whilst you knew OOCly you had to sleep before work, this by no means excuses you from roleplaying and jeopardizing their roleplay in the process which the Irish appeared to be eagerly waiting for. We find it rather odd that you also make a report about the situation just moments after the RP concluded especially when you so desperately needed to sleep. We request that you keep in mind the time and take into consideration OOC events prior to getting involved in a situation that will require you to RP extensively and to the best of your abilities. RP is not a one way street and OOC events shouldn't prevent you from roleplaying realistically and in believable fashion. 

This is listed in our rules and you would be right to review them in your days away from in-game activity.
