Simple Aspect Ratio Guide.

Here is a guide in regards to setting your game to play at the correct aspect ratio. As a thread on the forums has pointed out, a few people don't actually realize how the game is supposed to look.

So heres a small quick guide in how to set your aspect ratio correctly to ensure you are playing the game as it's meant to be played.

So first of all, you'll want to figure out what resolution your monitor is at, so to do this, you'll want to go to control panel -> display ->

screen resolution.

SWhAdDNLMG5zdGFuVGlWenmLbJDGd3CABhjZermgcystANA4T6nd0pzV0fSzBRRGOd17A4b8ZLwi6-HESbXI0lGb4xmT518mX8ecaOlB5vpaJSBr7sKKtJaPZmi5yc8EGtDMKm7WtjREP3aZ0Pl_leG3vHIXGVwv2Yo06UadZme334h-hhs7SlrVS7iuL0nH.PNG

It should look something like this, now you'll want to select your main monitor and your resolution will be shown. I'm not on my own computer right now, so I'm unable to show my own, however you'll see that in this screenshot the resolution is 1280x1080.

Small list in regards to general monitor sizes that I can think off the top of my head.

Bare in mind, you can google the aspect ratio if you have a different resolution.

1920x1080 - 16:9

1440x1080 - 16:9

1280x1024 - 4:3

Here is a decent calculator if you can't figure it out.

Now you know your aspect ratio of your monitor, you'll want to obviously load up DayZ and go into your video settings, you'll want to check the aspect ratio is set correctly, as seen here..

And that's all you need. Good luck!  - Ethereal
