Just a question about radios

Question

oligabe617    1

So Im relatively new here, and recently (sometimes) when we meet someone , they ask us for our radio frequency. So I am a bit confused because I assume the radios work through Teamspeak, but there don't seem to be any frequencies on the Teamspeak channels. Does this mean we make up a frequency for RP purposes? Can someone please explain it because I feel we are missing out on a big part of the RP.

Thanks in advance!

You can type out something like *Writes down radio frequency.* and then tell them OOC by typing //room #, and let them know which room you're in. These peoeple will then know who you are and be able to contact you in the future.

So basically when they ask about the radio frequency, they are asking about contacting you out of character by using Third Party Software. When they ask for your frequency, you can type OOC [//I'm in room 5, come join] for example.

You could also invent a frequency for yourself and use that, like for example you can see all the groups on teamspeak have a open comms, and a lot of the rooms have a frequency and that's what they use in game. They say that frequency in game followed by an OOC message saying which room in teamspeak this is.

I hope this answers your question!
