Wording of this Whitelist Question

After performing a whitelist application, I got every question right except for this one. The issue here is that this question is actually incredibly simple, however the only reason that I got it wrong was because the wording of those two bottom answers is similar and misled me to think that the actual correct answer was trying to say "Metagaming and powergaming at the same time", where the answer chosen was saying that "neither metagaming or powergaming is allowed".

The third answer's wording should be changed to be more clear, this wasn't a matter of getting the question wrong because I lacked the knowledge of it, but because I didn't consider that it was actually a double negative implying that both were allowed. Questions should not be misleading in a sense that one could accidentally get one wrong because the answers are unclear, but instead a knowledgeable person be capable of easily picking out the right answer without it being obvious.

Not sure you should be publically posting this bud. PM a community helper or join the TS and go to the Helpdesk channel.

I don't think this needs to be changed at all. It prevents people from reading too fast, I think it's actually perfect the way it is. If you read too fast, you will see the consequences :D This is a great way to learn not to fly through the questions and take your time reading them :)

The questions are not designed to be able to be done quickly. They are meant to be challenging and to properly test your knowledge of the rules and the community. As Samaritan has stated, if have any questions feel free to PM any Community Helper or come to the "Waiting for Staff Help" channel on TeamSpeak.

Many of the questions are what we call "critical thinking" questions. They are meant to provoke thought and cause you to dig deep into your understanding of the rules. With the new whitelist system, you have the benefit of multiple choice answsers. Back "in the old days", lol, those answers had to be written from scratch, preferably with examples.

Now the questions provide you with those examples/scenarios and challenge you to know the rules well enough to be able to think through the question and choose the "best" answer. There may indeed be two answers that border on right, but given these circumstances presented to you right here, right now in this whitelist question- which is the BEST answer for this situation? That does take more thought, time and effort. Thus the questions need to be challenging, or else what would be the accomplishment associated with passing the test?
