Why the verdict is not fair:

This verdict is unfair. Bad RP has a verity of definitions. In the rules it states, "Your character must behave realistically and appropriately to the different situations you participate in." In the situation I was involved in, I acted realistic. In a real life apocalypse, you would not be talking to someone every second. I was playing my part of the role which was to sort through their gear and look for supplies that we need (Medical supplies, ammo, etc.) . I did my role and talked when I needed too. Also, when you are all clustered together in a tight area, it is hard to talk to people. If I was were to interrogate a person in the church while Albert was talking to another person, it would have been hard to understand the person I was talking to. Realistically speaking, everyone has a role, and I played my role.

Talked a little bit more with the people. Asked some more questions.

Hi Andrew Baker,

After reviewing the original report and this appeal, we have come to the following conclusion.

The verdict is completely justified.

Throughout the situation, you were silent. Your whole focus in this situation was to run in and out of the church, ferrying gear back and forth.

You did not interact with the hostages or provide any RP at all.

The purpose of this community is for everyone to provide and receive enjoyable RolePlay. You completely neglected this and as such, were iven a 5 day ban. The standard punishment for BadRP.

Roleplay does not only consist of talking to people. It also consists of emotes. If you wanted to behave realistically for your character and not talk, you could have at least emoted things in chat.

As I have already stated, the verdict is justified and we see no reason to change it.
