Detailed description of the events: I ran up the hill trying to locate my friends and i saw these guys and i told them that i had to get to my friend as soon as possible since he was dieing. They told me to put my hands up and drop my weapon. I complied and after that they told me to drop all my weapons. When i heard that they started to count down. I told them to calm down and that i am dropping it. I dropped it then they shot me after i complied, knocked me unconscious and then when i was unconscious i could hear them telling me to run away to some position but since i am unconscious i couldn't comply and they just executed me.

Elijah's PoV: I'm tailing 3 guys who were impersonating Jay Wong, I follow them up hill into a treeline and I lose sight of them. I knew one of them went towards Gorka but I started looking into the treeline for someone hidden. Drew tells me there is a guy behind me in ghillie and confirms that he's the guy we were after ( that guy is OP ). I engage a conversation with OP, but he decides to cut our conversation short and starts running away and Drew initiates. OP wasn't really complying, he ran first and after a few shots stopped running. We asked him to drop his weapons and sprint towards novy but only dropped his weapons. Since he doesn't obey the order I start shooting in his arm to only wound him and not kill. Drew gives him one last chance to get up and run towards novy with a 3 second countdown but OP decides not to move. We presume that he's friends are returning to help him out and he's trying to win time so Drew kills OP and we return to Novy.

In the video you are seen shooting the OP before Drew Griffin kills him for 'Non-compliance'. While the hostage was running away, we feel that the shots were hasty and he can be heard in the video yelling "Alright! Alright" Prior to Drew's command of 'kill him'. Which wasn't done right away, but later on by Drew himself.

Drew Griffin,

The situation was indeed chaotic as characterized by the shouting and worry on both parties's ends, but we feel as though the execution after 3 seconds after receiving your demands is more hasty than anything.

Three seconds is not enough when factoring in server-side desync, pings and the stiffness of DayZ's controls.

Had you given your hostage ample time to comply this could have been an even more enjoyable experience for both parties in terms of roleplay.

In conclusion, We ask that both of you would re-familiarize yourselves with the rules and in the future give your hostages more ample time to comply.
