To me it doesn't sound like a chainsaw at all, far from it to be honest.

I think it sounds like the ocean, waves hitting the shore or so. But then way too loud.

And obviously way out of their region .

For real though, it is the sound of someone attempting to start a chainsaw. Most likely a sound bug repeating itself from someone using a chainsaw somewhere on the map, or had used one at GM before. I have to agree though, it is rather creepy at night when you're alone.

Green mountain's scary enough,

I ran around with a guy around a week ago that had a chainsaw constantly starting up bug, sounded exactly like this.

Nice video though, definitely would've scared the shit out of me.
