It's only possible that this was K.O.S., for I did not hear a gunshot. My character just dropped dead with no warning. All statuses were perfectly fine - first level thirst for a few minutes, just gotten hot from a bit of running, so I'm guessing it was either a bug or somebody shooting me from far away enough for the bullet to come before the sound.

It appears my body had been found and it had both ruined pants and boots, a glitch, apparently. No need to investigate it.

Those are the only logs I found regarding your death, nothing else registered, not even a hit logs, which means it was most likely a bug. Where were you exactly when you died ?
