The idea of interview a community member is to take yet another step forward towards bringing the

community together.

The idea is to create a thread where we will interview a random community member.

During this interview we will ask the community member some questions regarding the community and how their DayZRP experience has been.

~Tell us something unique about yourself!~

nothing really, well I am a Politics student so I know about most politics of Europe and the US in the last 100 years, really helps when understanding a characters way of thinking, or winning arguments with people who just like to scream about their beliefs without any knowledge of them. Suppose I can shout really loud too, helps with coms and scares the new kids, not that I would do that of course

~How has your DayZRP experience been?~

My DayZRP experience has been great, I had 300 hours when I started playing and now I’m pushing almost 2000 hours. I’ve really got myself into a community I can get along with and banter without anyone getting too annoyed, the RP community has made DayZ the game I enjoy most, Trust me I don’t play this game for the glitch deaths, glitched zombies and bad mechanics.

~Have you made any friends during your time in this community?~

Ihave made so many friends on DayzRP its ridiculous, to name a few FlashCrack, CoreBlaster, ScotsRebel, Die Kaplyn and loads more, also myself, Clapton, Sandy and a few other gents are all meeting up in Dublin to stay and hang out for 5 days. Also this April coming I am going to the Netherlands to see Spartan and Levi. Honestly the people on this are what make DayzRP so enjoyable so swapping details and going to visit just seems like a hell of a lot of fun.

~Is there something that you would like to see added to our community?~

Maybe if people were a little less PC about prejudices and racism in game, I’m not saying promote it but If someone has these prejudices in game and acts on them it could lead to some interesting RP. I know it’s a long shot to have but I believe it could make the community a bit more immersive. We see it in game already just RPd in a certain way like with Chernarussian nationalists and their Xenophobic attitude to foreigners. It also may promote new “Fascist” or more intense nationalist movements to appear pulling us away from the stereotypical “Yes Comrade” Russian groups we have seen. If we have Communists why not Fascists, find out which of the two ideologies have killed more people, the answer may surprise you.

~What are some of your most memorable DayZRP experiences?~

my first ever hostage situation was when the “Family” took me and my fellow Monroe Republic members hostage and Zeleno Mill, was a hell of a fun time with some interesting twisted RP from GreatKhan and Grazo. My time with the A.S.O. was great, we really made a difference and brought a certain powerhouse group to their knees when they picked on the wrong group of apple loving people from Bash. Oh and the ambush by us and the Colony on Alter hill was badass.

~Is there anything in particular that you're looking forward to with DayZSA?~

More vehicles and clothing I suppose, oh and all the glitches fixed and the bugs and the mechanics and the textures and persistence..... you get the point? I just want this to be a complete and smooth playing game, I know it’ll take 30 dog years to happen but I’m always hopeful.

~What do you feel is the best thing about DayZRP and our community?

The friends I’ve made and the banter and great RP that comes with it, that is all.

~Do you have any tips or hints for newcomers?~

The same thing I put in all of my message to newcomer threads, Don’t fuck up. Trust  me I know how to fuck up as a newcomer and it sucks when you realise how much you fucked up. Have fun and read the rules and lore, also read any tips thread on how to RP in Chernarus and for Christ sake NO you did not crash into  the Cherno hotel and were the only survivor, there are more only survivors than there were  passengers.

~Is there anything you would like to see more of within the community?~

More Chernarussians! For a country that was once inhabited by millions of Chernarussians there seems to be a distinct lack in Chernarusian survivors, we need more  of them and less super soldiers who came here on a special mission.
