Shadowplay issue

[Mental]

Whenever I try to record DayZ or Arma 2 with shadowplay, the recording is just a black screen.

Google said using -winxp fixes it but that caused dayz to crash upon booting up.

The shadowplay symbol doesnt show up whenever im in windowed mode.

Anybody come across this before? Need welp

Do you open up said Shadowplay after the game is already running? Usually if it's open beforehand then it works.

Ah okay, have you attempted to see whether manual Shadowplay recording works?

I fixed it!

Wasnt shadowplay, it was windows media player showing the black screen. Opened it with VLC and it was fine.
