So, I've been thinking that Hawk may sooner or later may be dead for good, no going back. He is my favourite character, but I have other ideas that I may wish to create. And I want your opinions!

Quick last minute tip: Research about some of the traits and cons. They are very important!

You may vote on who you like the best!

Here are those three character's that I wish to create:

First character:

Name: Justin Morales.

Born: Bangor, Maine. October 14th, 1984

Occupation before: Hostage Negotiator.

Traits: Reasonable, logical, problem-solving, passive, Conscientious, Benevolent, Courteous, Decisive, Eloquent

Cons: PTSD, epilepsy (Thus prone to seizure), Myopia, necrophobia, autophobia, algophobia, kenophobia

Dislikes about him: Aggressive upon confrontation, causes drama from nothing.

Additional information: Was in a long-term relationship. Had a son who was killed by a hostage taker. Dealt with depression throughout school.

How he will be during game play: Survivor with a tendency to be a hero.

Inspiration: From many L.A. Noir genre books.

How he looks:

Second character:

Name: Mathis St-Pierre

Born: Hôpital Saint-François d'Assise, Quebec City. August 27th, 1978

Occupation before: Psychiatrist for the clinically insane.

Traits: Investigative, Amiable, Aspiring, Calm, Charming, Contemplative

Cons: AD/HD, Bipolar disorder, aquaphobia, taphephobia, kakorrhaphiaphobia.

Dislikes about him: Conformation Bias, too personal, narcissist.

Additional information: He saw someone get shot and took it upon himself to research motives.

How he will be during gameplay: Survivor with bandit tendencies, he likes to experiment on people.

Inspiration: The DC character Scarecrow (Jonathan Crane.) from Batman.

How he looks:

Third character:

Name: Casey Halls

Born: Los Angeles, California. December 23rd, 1986.

Occupation before:  Marketing Manager

Traits: Active, Calm, Professional, Eloquent, Capable, Compassionate, Clever

Cons: Discreet Dissociative identity disorder, anxiety, Grandiose delusions, Demophobia, Ballistophobia, necrophobia

Dislikes about him: Coward, anti-gun.

Additional information: Had retrograde amnesia during middle school, and was a victim of a school shooting.

How he will be during gameplay: Complete neutral.

Inspiration: Two-Face (Harvey Dent) from DC's Batman.

How he looks:

The idea that I have for him is that he won't force it on others, rather he will just not be about using guns whenever possible. He himself won't use guns, only melee.

I'm just asking opinions.

I play a character who is anti-gun as well. Poppy is very afraid of guns due to a personal history with them, and it definitely makes for interesting role play.

If you play that character, be prepared for people to be angry with you for your opinion on that, for people to take advantage of you, and for zombies (once they are implemented again) to be a huge threat.

Might be interesting to have a character like Casey Halls. Someone who was clearly successful in the "normal" world, but has had their power taken away in the apocalypse!

---SNIP---

The main reason why he is Anti-Gun is due to his Ballistophobia; fear of bullets.

And yes, I will most likely have lots of people take advantage, but I like uniqueness.

All the characters have quite a lot of disorders or issues, why? There's plenty of things you can do to make a character compelling or interesting, other than making them irrational or crazy.

I like the first one alot. With so many phobias of regular things you're bound to lean on some shoulders. He reminds me a bit of a crooked cop.

And I love the idea of a hostage negotiator verbally getting himself out of a bad situation.

Yeah, I like the idea myself.

What I'm proposing is actual PhobiaRP. I rarely see them. So, I want to try it.

Phobia RP is new and could lead to some good rp. I suggest that you understand the phobias before you go around portraying them.

Been researching for quite awhile.

If it's not all correct, at least I tried, eh?

Ideas I have if the characters confronted their phobias would be: Faster breath, begging, emotional breakdown, etc.

For some reason the last one stands out to me the most. But go for what you think is best :)

All of the characters you put up are quite unique in their own way. As long as the phobias are done correctly and from what I see you have done your research and you are well aware of what the phobias are and how they actually 'work' in reality.

It was a hard choice but I decided to pick 'Casey Halls', either way all of the characters are good, pick whatever you think suits you best I guess.

All of the characters look interesting.

it all depends how you rp it out.

I'd say - try them one by one and check who do you like to be.

Personally id probably say Casey Halls, mainly because the second type of character is becoming somewhat common, and the first would just mess with my head, being an agressive guy yet also having tendencies to be heroic is a strange combination. I think the third is more rounded off and understandable.

Do you know how long it'd take to make all their backstories? ;-;

why not go like for 1,5 hour each and then decide who to go with?
