My very first gamevideo!

Recommended Posts

Hey people!

As the title might point out, I made my first ever game video.

Obviously it would be in the DayZ RP for the best experience.

I'm not gonna lie, I know it's not a video of famous youtubers quality,

but I was wondering what your people's thoughts on it are.

This was just a random situation, I just edited it a bit to be watchable.

Don't expect any masterpiece, or badass gunwielding on my end..

I would just love any form of feedback, be it positive or negative.

Just wondering if this is something I could keep doing, or what I could do better :).

Well anyway, here's the link to my video!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1zOINlU7xs

P.S. In the video you'll hear me talk to people from time to time, they're on TS with me.

The stupid thing however is, I can't record their voices through my (Sennheiser lefty) headset.

Just ignore that bit.

I watched it, nice sequence of events.

If you want a little constructive criticism. Editing. It needs editing, a little music here and there to generate tension, and cut it down in size. The raw footage has great potential.

Its certainly better than my first video.

It's a very nice material you've got there. As stated before, a little bit editing, a little bit of music in the background and it's good to go! :)

Oh that's the Irish guy we had hostage yesterday. The video was good, tense, and enjoyable. Next time cut it down to maybe a 8-10 minute video, and you'll be set.

Thank you so much for this feedback! It means a lot coming from someone with multiple hundreds of subscribers!

And yeah I see what you mean, it's a bit of a drag to watch now huh..

I will definitely take this advice too and work with it, thanks!

I'm glad the video gave you those feelings! And yeah I'll try and keep them shorter next time!

Lol and funny you met the same guy then!

Thanks to all of you for your input so far!

I'm actually really happy and thankful you people took the time to actually watch my video

I have watched it again, and totally get where you guys are getting at :)

It could definitely be edited a bit better, a bit shorter, and a nice tune, yeah it would do nicely!

If a next video is coming I guess I'll post it again!

At some point it became difficult for me to pinpoint who was who xD.

So were you rudolph? The random who walked up with the blue mountain backpack? If so, we did not shoot you.

Or were you the guy who ended up dead at the dumpster? If so, yeah that was my buddy's single mosin shot you hear in the video xD

I took your guys' advice and made a new edit of the video.

Also I made another video, a compilation of what i've been through.

There's a media thread by me now, I posted them in there.

If you guys are interested, please have a look :).
