Doctor Question

Question

I needed to ask, i've seen quite a few people with "Dr" at the beginning of their name. Lets just use the name "Dr. Chair Guy." I've seen a few people with that at the beginning of their name and just wanted to ask if you could do that? I was just curious if you could do that.

Yup! I do not see any reason why not, especially if that fact is integral to the character.

I would recommenced not doing it just so people cant like meta-game your a doctor, or you can introduce yourself as a doctor instead of them just read your name tho.

Jus' sayin.

I can not see a problem with having Dr in front of your name if integral to the character

after all your SgtTan are you a Sergeant?

I could be wrong but I see no problem with it

Personally I would find it very odd if when meeting someone for the first time, outside of a hospital or medical environment, introduced themselves as "Dr First last".

I would also find it very odd if someone introduced themselves in a civilian environment as "Sargent Last". Unless they were representing a military unit at an event, recruitment day, response to emergency etc, it would seem very unnatural to me.

Rule wise it's allowed, but you must also include a first and last name.

Have these comments sufficiently answered your question?
