What is wrong with tents?

Question

I found a big military tent in army camp north from zeleno and i pitched it on offical persitence: ON hidden in the woods where people could not easily spot it. After one day my tent wasn't there and i don't believe someone took it because it was a low pop server and my tent was well hidden at location where usually people don't go

( there was no loot spawn nearby in the forest where i pitched my tent). Is this a glitch? Please tell me more about why could have this happened if you had similiar experience

Was this on the DayzRP servers? If so, then your tent will be reset after each restart.

If this was not a DayzRP server, it was most likely somebody DID find your hideout, even if you would think nobody would come there.

But, it could have been wiped as well due to the persistence wipes that occur every wednesday.

Or well... #blamealpha.

Then it is most likely somebody did find your secret hideout!

Or a hive wipe.

Or alpha glitch.
