Could you give a bit more info on what who where?

is the game running in windowed mode or full screen,

could other programs maybe be causing this?

has this been always a problem or is it something recent?

Also this should be on the troubleshoot forums

Try running DayZ/Steam as an administrator.

Trying alt+tab cycling to your program and/or clicking the icon in the taskbar.

Verify integrity of game cache as a last resort.

Do control-alt-delete, open task manager, then tab back into dayz standalone. Fixes the problem about 75% of the time for me.

If you have any launch parameters enabled, turn them off. The one parameter I know for sure does this is -winxp.
