PSA: Loot cycling

Loot cycliers beware. Now with persistence turned on, loot spawns differently. If you are seen cleaning out entire buildings and moving gear into backpacks, or removing it from entire buildings and piling up all out front , or under a tree, you are in violation of the rule of Abusing Game Mechanics. If you see this, record and report. You will be heavily punished if caught. This is your one and only warning.

Record and report.

Please do.

Loot cycling is what is causing extra crashes and if caught we will not hesitate in punishing you harshly.

I did see this going on the other day at GM. Didn't really know what was going on... Guess now I know. Interesting

It should be understood that it falls under abusing game mechanics. I don't feel a sticky is necessary for the idiots who decide to do it.

So what does this do? Create new loot? I'm not sure

Okay...

1 backpack + 20 items = server sees this as 21 items, no new loot needed

20 items inside backpack = server sees this as 1 item, 20 new items spawn

Please record and report loot cyclers. If you are only here to gear whore then things will not end well. These people who loot cycle are the reason servers are crashing.

I would gladly report them if I saw them. Also when persistence was first turned on, I was getting some unexpected nice FPS- then lately it dropped hard. I think this is apart of my problem...

Well RIP me, I was under the impression putting stuff in bags helped the server.

It helps the servers crash all the time. Please stop doing that.
