If I were to factory reset my pc. Then reinstall steam would I have to pay for dayz standalone again?

No you would not. Steam is free. And all products you have bought, are bound to your account.

That would mean, all games bought on a particular acoount stick to that account. You can acces your account everywhere, on any pc.

As long as you have steam installed and you are logged into your account, you will be able to acces all your games you have. You'll jsut have to reinstall them.

As long as you use the same steam account, then you wouldn't have to buy another copy of DayZ - you will however have to reinstall the game.

Whatever everyone else said, but just make sure you really know all your steam account details!
