So I got a great gaming PC so its not about my pc but...

In 15 minutes time my dayz froze for 3 / 4 times. if its unfrozed it says no message received but the server didnt restart/crash.

Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Thanks,

Jack

If you have to shut down your computer it is always best to do it correctly (if you can).

Turning your computer off using the button can damage your hard drive (your hard drive spins and if it stops abruptly by just turning it of, it can damage it). This could therefore have and effect on your gaming.

Hopefully this is not the case and it's something that can be rectified. Have you tried shutting down your PC (correctly) since the issue has been happening and trying again?

Yes, didnt work. Didnt try other games either. But your harddrive cant break by doing it once right?

EDIT: got a SSD harddrive. Its not spanning anymore ;)

Then my theory is redundant. Hopefully someone has had a similar issue and you can get it rectified. If you do not get answers here, Google the problem.

If you are running windows 8 change the game to run on windows 7, may help.

Maybe the PC components are getting to hot.

If it only happens to one particular game try reinstalling said game.

Background/other programs may conflict with said program in some way, for example your anti-virus.

If you use SweetFX, remove it.

If you have edited any files, for example configuration files, revert them.

You say in 3-4 minutes the game froze, did it lock up fully to the point it needed to be closed?

Did it just have small freezes?

I do not know how to help you fully but these are things you could try as troubleshooting. Adding your main PC specs could help people give you ideas on the issue. If you can not find help here you may want to search about on the official DayZ forums for a solution.

My pc is 1 month old so I know for 99% that is nothing with my hardware.

I got in since yesterday. Never got the problem.

Yes it does freeze completely for 3/5 minutes. If im in the server it says after the freeze no message received but the server didnt crash
