I heard from somewhere that now, you DO need Water to grow plants. Can anyone confirm? (I maybe heard from WOBO not sure.)

Yes you do, it says something like (Soil is too dry for plants to grow)

Also, (writing from experience) only grow what you need. Don't use all of your seeds, unless you have a tent to store it in. We didn't and we just dumped it under a tree and next day it's all gone. (along with the rotten ones)

this is really helpful, I know that sometimes plants will spoil on their own just by chance I guess. Anybody know of any ways to reduce this chance or prevent spoiling all together?

This is good info. It's awesome that the plants grow so quickly. Maybe I'll be able to farm next time I play. Thanks so much for putting time into this guide!

For all Bambies, the best way to survive in the beginning is farming apples and berries!

I wonder if and when they'll introducing cooking recipes. Sure farming has a high yield of whatever plant you grew, but it would be cool if you received a higher nutritional/water boost from making things like stews so you're rewarded for having crop diversity.

Hey! I might be wrong but I think I have seen the ability to make a farm plot with the fireaxe and the Ice pick, is that actually possible or is it just a button and not an action?
