Currency

Recommended Posts

I was thinking after playing some Takistani life, and they have when u press a button, theres currency, thought it would be cool if we could trade, Bottlecaps (old fav from fallout) or Tin cans etc, or something really Common.

Just a thought, i thought would be interesting!

If only there was (in current dayz - no, in standalone - yes ) a way to seperate bullets from magazines/clips it would be ideall to implement bullet currency :D ( In mix with possible loottable edition of more scare spawnable ammo and weaponry)

It should be pretty easy to implent from the spiltting mag logic that you could create "Stack of tin cans" from eg 8 tincans :)

Then the problem with inventory is fixed. The only reason that this has not been implemented by the comunity is the inventory system..

Now that we have our own mod it could be easily fixed so we can have tin can currency.

Currency only has a value as people agree to use it as a currency and then base it on something that is precious as a standard.

The most precious thing we would have are supplies and weapons.

Why not base a currency on blood bags instead? Seems like a more valid option than cans as they actually have a value whereas cans are useless and designed for minor things and to spawn in place of more valuable items. This creates the impression that items in general are much rarer to find,

That would work to ^ anything really. Just someting that common, or something worth value
