Jamesky Zaetsev - Backstory

Jamesky Zaetsev was born in Czechoslovakia ~1978. Zaetsev came from a reasonably affluent socialist family. His father was a sergeant in the Warsaw Pact Czechoslovakian armed forces, and his mother was a pharmacist. From an early age, Zaetsev took an interest in pharmacology. He was described as a shy young man, with a reserved and caring personality. Aged only 11, he witnessed the brutal murder of both his parents by a velvet revolutionary, one of the members of the anti-communist uprising in Czechoslovakia.

From this moment on, Zaetsev became increasingly determined to aid the fight to eradicate all that opposed the Warsaw Pact.

When he was 21 years old, he joined the Czechoslovakian Medical Air Service, and it was here that he could use the knowledge of pharmacology he had acquired from a young age whilst making a future career in the Czechoslovakian Air Force foreseeable.

For the next 13 years, Zaetsev worked his way up in the Medical Air Service, eventually becoming flying instructor for cadets. In 2012, during the outbreak of the unknown infection in the South Zagorian province of Czechoslovakia, a shortage of qualified pilots meant that Zaetsev had to train young pilots whilst providing medical evacuation with the Emergency Medical Services. One evening, Zaetsev was training a cadet by allowing him to fly the Mi-17 ambulance. The young cadet, named Tazoo, struck a tree whilst flying near Chernarus, wrecking the helicopter.

Tazoo’s body was not located, and it is suspected that he fled whilst Zaetsev was unconscious during the aftermath of the crash. Zaetsev was met by a Spetsnaz company who had been deployed to the area. Their medic administered treatment for his wounds in return that he use his piloting experience to allow them to utilise the multitude of aircraft in the Chernarus area to help with air surveillance of anarchist/terrorist positions and routes. This was, in essence the unofficial recruitment of Zaetsev into Company 47, the “S-GRU”.

Over the next few months, Zaetsev would prove both his flying and medical abilities, eventually leading to his promotion via recommendation into the Spetsnaz Air-Corps, carried out by radio communication with the Kremlin in Moscow, which officially allowed him to fly, whilst serving with the S-GRU ground forces. This is where Jamesky Zaetsev stands today.

Not sure if Tazoo will appreciate you saying he's a Cadet though xD since Tazoo would rather have his name on another rank in his own story. I'd suggest you renaming the cadet ^^

Anyway, it was a nice story, very well written!

Also, it wouldn't matter if you renamed him, everybody knows that story anyway xD
