cant start up dayz mod or arma 2 OA

Question

sstegner    0

"windows cannot access the specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to acces the item." is the error i get when starting up through steam, game itself, dayz commander, and even play with 6.. i looked at the past post and tried those remedies

Try going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete both the files in there. Then run ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead.

Try the above quote and tell us how it went.

ok thanks will do


now im getting a pop up that says "the instruction at 0x008429bb referenced memory at 0x00000000. the memory could nor be read, click "OK" to terminate"


you know any solutions for that?

What issue are you actually having? Please explain in detail as you are mentioning different problems here.

Verify your arma 2 oa game cache and try to launch again.

Someone else had this issue as well.

Their should be two files that are not found, it will reacquire them and you should be god.
